@JonnyMcVegas dude if you're doing 2000 on your sort then you need to slow down. we get paid hourly and not by PPH. If you're a Union member then you can't be fired for low PPH. So next time you find yourself working like an Under Paid Slave.. take a breath.

We got new scanners at the JAX, FL HUB recently.. I was one of the first people to get to test one out. I busted out 930 PPH over a 3 1/2 hour period. SUCK IT. =D

Thanks for sharing this video with us. I am about to be hired as a package handler for morning shift at UPS. I just wanted to see some clips of this type of work so I can understand what I'm up against. I know this is the night shift you guys are working in but I hear the morning shift is a lot more involved. I just hope I can hack it. I have pushed heavy loads of shopping carts before at WalMart in the hot summer and busy holidays. So I do have strength and endurance.

Just started working at the Columbus, OH Hub about 3 weeks ago... We load Jacksonville, FL on the belt I'm on too and it easily takes the most flow. Pain in the ass when you're new to the job.

I work at a smaller center. Its practically just an outpost and do not have a maze of chutes slides. One main conveyor that runs down the length of the building. Good video!

And, "No" I did not get people to help me out flippin labels or organizing things out.

I just went at it.

I always was chasing after the records.

I never power loaded cause I hated being considered a power loader even for a minute.

I made records specificly in the off-season( not peak) to prove a point.

My reocord was "14189" for the week. Mon-Fri Twi

2nd place had 5848 scans.

That's 8341 scans difference.

My finla day I ended up with 2796 with 724 PPH.

Best in the week was 3583 with 693 PPH.

I also made a "Key-enter" record for 887 in a day for 203 PPH. Beat that!

Hate the damn smalls bagging, if you ever have to do it all night long your hands are black cause they are filthy. And the stickers never stick to the bags cause they were cheap when buying them so we have to tape them on to get em to stick! Really irritating. When I watch the videos and look back I dont miss the slave work at all cause all I made back then was 8 an hour which was before they did all the raises to 8.50 then 9 after 90 days. But than again I made more than double these guys now:)

I need to bring a camera in and film PD-11 and PD-12 at the Toledo, OH HUB 4369D. I average at around 2,500-2,700 scans a night doing Flint, MI. Recently I was able to pickoff and our belt gets about 10-12,000 a night. Building volume at about 150,000 every sort. Peak season, you're looking at 250,000-300,000+ and they make us work on Sundays during December. I love extendos though...life savers they are.

@RozialFFXI90 yeah I feel you. I work at the Jacksonville, FL hub. I think it is the second or third largest in the country. We get butt raped by boxes, but I hold it down fo sho ;) I average over 600 PPH every night.
