  • @braaup 17" wheels all around. I didn't dyno the engine but it was built somewhere in the high 300's to low 400 hp.

  • dude that bitch is a nice fuckin truck!!! i got a 03 dodge v6 mag and smoked a 90 v8 camaro i love the power

  • how fast it went

  • @bigdoo350 As fast as the speed limit signs told me.

  • @warren997 lol

did you have a aftermarket tourqe converter or the stock one

  • @warren997 lmao

  • what kind of intake and the size of the carb

  • whit is the tansmission and rear end gear?

  • what gear ratio do you have

  • What transmission did you have in her??

  • @Trey3212 It was a Turbo 350 tanny, 4 speed auto.

  • @warren997 TH-350 is a 3 speed, do you mean you had a 700-R4 4 speed?

  • whats the intro song? and baddass truck man 5/5

  • humm whats the drop on that?

  • 3 front, 4 back

  • music suits this video perfect good job 5/5

  • i have a 98 ext cab with a 355 small block if u have any advise on how to make some power you should definatly let me know right now im tryin to make at least 400hp out of it

  • really good heads

  • nice

  • hey where did you get your seats? and how much? i'm looking into some new ons the stockrs are junk.

  • Love this truck, i have a 96 s10 2.2 manual reg cab with 228000 miles give or take and it runs like a champ. Thinking about putting a blown v8 in it one of these days.

  • Do any of you think it would be possible to fit a 572 into an s-10? Just crazy thought that came to mind Lol.

  • anything is possible.. some things just take more cutting haha =D

  • what rear end ya got under that s10 and what heads?

  • @free2bme777 fucking gay, that ruins the purpose of a v8. its not a damn beaner mobile.

  • Your a fucking retard its a race truck not a bagged truck your fucking tool bag!!!!!!!

  • How fast was this truck? Did you ever take it to the track?

  • holy shit the pulling away part next to the other vehiucle for the first time where he was looin out the window gave me goosebumps.DAM

  • iv watched this video several times, its a really nice truck,u shouldnt of sold it,u should build another.

  • my is black

  • Damn nice truck you got there man i have the same motor just nothing to put it in yet

  • wonder what rear gear its on? 3:73 Probably wouldn't be all that bad for it...

  • i have a 95 s10 with a 4.3 vortec in it but i thought about putting a bigger motor in it i was wondering did you have an issue with the steering column clearance under the hood.

  • the chevy 305 or 350 V8 will slide right in with no problems clearing the steering colum (done them before), different story if your gonna wedge a big block in it, clearance might be a issue with headers then

  • This video really makes me miss my 283 95. Godamnit, I'm getting a little teary eyed. Awesome video man.

  • too much music, get rid of the music

  • @ctchmy5point0 I disagree. The music in this video is PERFECT. Perfect music, perfect placement, perfect timing. There are parts where you can here that big bad 400 small block.

  • Nice truck! I love s10s! But what is the name of the song?

  • just shut up and eat an ice cream cone

  • you should of put airbags on it

  • whats the song?

  • so you think if i tape a six pack of nos up is should get like 3000hp right?

  • LMFAO! are you serious?~!

  • i was joking calm down

  • Probably not lol. More like 900hp at 150 shot each but you would blow an engine with that shit.

  • what kind of radiator was used for this, and can it be used for a 94 s-10

  • It was a corvette spec rad, just a lot larger than the stock S10 one. I had to cut out some of the front shroud to make it fit but there were no big issues other than making a bit more space for it.

  • Hey, is that truck auto or manual?

  • @tkh450 automatic.

  • nice job on this

  • awesome truck. great editing

  • awesome video, man. good editing, good songs, one mean little 10

  • it might be faster if you put a type r sticker on the front windsheild....lol

  • I noticed it doesn't help all the little Hondas so I decided against it, haha.

  • no, that increases horsepower by 5 and increases aerodynamic drag by 30%. You need to put 2 7 inch diameter exhuast tips out the sides underneath the doors (not connected to actual exhaust pipes) and put a type S sticker on the tailgate. Together, an estimated increase of 700 horsepower is expected.

Also, a NOS bottle (the energy drink, not nitrous) taped to the bed will further increase horsepower by 1200 when the horn is pressed.

  • we should hangout sometime and swap tuning tips.....lol

  • 2:27 love the ice cream cone

  • dude that thing is SICK shoulda kept it ma.

  • yes, they fit a small block perfectly.

  • I dont get it, are V8s an easy swap into these?

  • If you know what you're doing, you can make it happen for sure.

  • looking to drop a 350 crate into my 95 s10 ext. cab, w/4x4 tough project?

  • Pretty damn easy.

  • what is the first song that comes on

  • "Right here, right now" by Fatboy Slim

  • what wheels are those? they look sick. i wanna see if i can find a set like that for my dime.

  • Privat Fahren, 17's. They don't make them anymore though.

  • i would never sell a truck like that

  • Awesome s10... What wiring harness did you use to swap the v8 in?

  • The wiring was just a kit from Painless bought through Summit Racing I think it was.

  • was this an SS model origionally?

  • No, just a regular S10...4 cylinder, bench seat. Nothing fancy.

  • Toyota Previa 4 the chaser!

I have a truck myself... not as badass.... but i couldnt imagine driving that thing in icy or rainy weather. if u were to put ANY weight on that gas pedal with that 406, your goin side ways.

I like that last scene. I hear that V-8 rumble coming and think Corvette, Camaro, or GT and then I see....... a S-10!!

    10/10

  • how long did it take u to fit the V8?

  • you can do it in a weekend with some help and the know-how.

  • what kind of rims are those and what size?

  • They're 17" Private Fahren. I believe they stopped making these rims in 2007. Many other similar styles out there though.

  • that truck was badass man...i bet you cried when you sold it...

  • Man I would love to have a 454 s10 with the fluke performance package. Nice ride lets play sometime.

  • man that things a beast and you really showed her o...f...f...(slowmo :)with all the highspeeds, engine revs, burnouts, donuts, drifts, and clutch dumps...you can really drive..........Shit I wouldn't let you drive my tummy stix

  • you talk shit down below then u wanna act like his best friend lol and by the way its automatic so what clutch dumps. ___ kids these days lol

  • dude i dump the clutch on my auto ALL THE TIME! hahahahahahahahaha, dont you?

  • Actually, its a manual.

  • gayest fu*king video ever...eat some more ice cream and go play tummy stix with your buddy who helped shoot the video.

  • Telling someone to go eat more icecream is an insult I've never thought of telling someone. Thanks.

Also...I shot the video and owned the truck as well.

  • Man Awsome worth the watch worken on my s10 just sweet!!! ogo

  • At first I thought the video started out slow.I almost click'd on another vid. This video gets alot better as it goes.

The real music is when you can hear the V8 pulling hard around other traffic at night and then the straightaway(3:22+). Man that sounds sweet.

    I have a 385 thats is supposed to go into an S-10.(Video here).Right now I'm finishing up a '48. I'm glad that wasn't a cop @ 6:41,,,LOL

    Nice Truck.

  • Thanks man, I'm glad that wasn't a cop too.

  • nice! i have a 93 406 small block. very nice motors.

  • They are indeed, enjoy man.

  • Damn nice looking truck. Makes me really miss my 283 95. Thanks for the video.

  • nice ride. i got a 97 long bed extended cab blacked out. i was thinking about doing a twin turbo small block Pro Stockish truck. you'll wish you didn't sale it... we all did.

  • Turbo small block would be sick!

  • bad ass man

i plan to put a 383 stroker in my s10

    :)

  • 95 s10?

  • 96 s10

  • thats bad ass

  • Well thats too bad you got rid of it. All you needed on it was a roll cage just in case you hit a pothole..........

  • sucks u sold that nice ass truck dude whare did u live before tornto cuse i live an hour from thare in a town called newmarket

  • I lived and owned the truck when I lived in PEI, eastern PEI. It would have cost me 6 million bucks to drive it up to Toronto, then insurance is twice as high, pay to store/park the thing, other dumb expenses. It was wiser for me to sell it, as sad as it was.

  • that sucks dude that was a nice truck u hade thare dude

  • this is the sickest s10 i have ever seen

    good work man

  • Whats the Hp and Tq?

  • I actually have no idea. Quite high into the 400's maybe around 500's. More than the average bear.

  • Thats a shit load for that tiny truck. haha Too bad you had to sell it, I'm thinking of doing the pretty much the same set up.

  • i've got a 1967 chevy C10 with a 406 sbc, perfect motor for that truck dude, 5/5 spectacular

  • how is a 406 a small block?

  • well a 427 is a small block too dude

  • It's still a small block. Same basic block as a 350, except the 400 has siamese cylinders, and a larger crank journal size, as well as cylinder size. Stock is 4.125" bore with a 3.750" stroke. Bore the cylinders .030 over to 4.155" with a STD crank = 406cu.

My question is: Do I spy a set of double hump heads?

  • fuck that stupid truck you faggot

  • You seem really awesome. Really, really awesome. I wish you all the best man.

  • if only i new were you lived i would have bought the beast and make it produce 989hp and take it to the strip

  • Fuck you I like it.

  • you put a ratchet shifter in it bro?

  • Yes sir, its a B&M. They're pretty cool.

  • LOL! Were you holding an ice cream cone @ 2:27?

  • hey man nice truck...i got an 02 standard cab stepside and i'm wantin to drop an 8 in it to but i was wandering how much work it was for the 406 and where did u get those seats?

  • You can do the swap pretty easy if you've got some guys who know the big stuff like wiring and getting everything fine tuned. I got the seats just at a local parts supplier. You can get them all over the place and online too.

  • i find it real funny how all these fags talk big shit online and when you get them face to face they shut there mouths

  • You just spitting our random sentences? I'm gonna use this one sometime too, ha!

  • hahahaha! Thanks for the laugh meatpopsicle.

  • Cool lil vid. Cool truck. reds not me. but still cool truck. Thanks.

  • Nice truck shitty video

  • oh thats a bad bitch mines fast but damn

  • SICK!!!!

  • Your s-10 is animal

I got a 409 in 94 extra cab i'm about half way threw the build

  • nice work man lots of time and money in that baby sounds bad and looks damn good not much on s10s i like the 67-72 c10s my self but i like this one

  • i love the diamond plating.. well i love the whole truck! lol. im sorry you had to seell it.. i wouldve been heart brokenn

  • awesome job on that truck. work of fuckin art. how much did you let it go for?

  • when you put that carbed engine was it like legal due to emission laws? and was it easier and cheaper than to due like a 5.7 vortec?

  • Not sure what the Vortec would cost. Depends on what you do to the motor. Mine was pricey because I did a lot of aftermarket parts. Not too sure about the emissions thing either, where I used to live it didn't seem to matter. I always knew the mechanic doing the inspection anyway.

  • well dang, was it hard to go from fuel injected with computer to a carb? did you have to swap out all the gauges and stuff like that?

  • Everything was gutted. Every bit of the wiring was redone to go with the new engine. All new gauges too.

  • sounded like a lot of work!

shit i think i shouldnt do a swap.. just buy a full size to save me from the loonnggg days

  • it takes one wire to run a carb engine if it has 4.3 it will bolt up to every thing

  • damn that's a pretty truck!

  • how much work was done 2 the tranny to hold that much hp? I have a 412 sbc and a th 350 that i would like 2 put in my s10 but im almost scared to use that tranny but i would hate to spend money on another one... i would just like 2 know what i would have 2 do 2 make that tranny hold up to around 450 hp

  • Not too much was done to my tranny. I only had an issue with it once and it was because I had a tranny fluid leak, which was an easy fix.

  • I LOVE YOUR TRUCK

  • Love them Chevy sb406's!

I have one sittin in a '54 Ford F100. '72 block, forged flat tops, balanced, 4 bolt mains, port matched heads, rollers, Wiend singleplane, Holley 750, Comp Cams 280. Loose converter, 390:1 limited slip.

Not a real killer, but she's got some ass.

    Cruiser in the low 14's.

  • best soundin' engine in s-10 on you tube. what are cam specs???

  • what kinda mods did u have to do to make that huge 406 fit in that small truck.cuz i wanna put a 383 stroker in my 98 sonoma and lower it but what kinda mods am i lookin at got the 2.2 4 cylinder in it right now.

  • Gut the engine bay of course. My truck had custom mounts made for the engine, a bit of cutting in the front of the engine bay for the larger rad, a couple of cuts in the lower firewall for the aftermarket headers. Its kind of a trial and error thing when fitting it in, but its not as difficult as one would think.

  • ok now that i know that what kinda rear end and gears u put in it to support the engine

  • My truck wasn't posi which sucked a lot, but it would go posi if you spun the tires for a couple seconds. I just put the rear end out of an S10 Xtreme in mine with 4.10 gears at first, which had a top speed of like...160 but it got there damn fast. It was too much though to drive it on the highway so I put 3.73 gears in it. Worked well. I had the 3 speed and doing 100kph it was around 1900 or 2000 rpm. I could have used a 4 speed but whatever, to each his own I guess. I liked the 3.

  • how would u posia rear end that anit.anit it just a gear in there or sumthin

  • spool or mini spool is the easiest and chepest way... look them up in jegs or something

  • did u have to upgrade the gas tank and was ur spedo off with those bigger wheels and tires

  • get a 4 spd

  • I'd have to buy the truck back, then get the 4 speed. The little 3 speed in her did a good job.
