Well, all you lads who want to, can make it out to be as nasty, wicked or evil as you want. But I think it's marvelous and it's brought a bit of fame to Flamborough which is the best place on earth!

I wish I could claim that The Good Tea Band built this cairn (well, half of them did help!) and wish to add (on the cannon master's behalf) that no York poet was at the building of this monument, whatever he might claim or imply.

A piece featured on the Yorkshire & Humber edition of Look North and I believe the report is still available to stream on their web pages. Commentary ran along the lines of ... "it appeared three days ago" and "no one knows who built it". I believe Peter Levy is to do an update on tonight's 6:00pm news. Well done for creating the mystery :)
