Well, all you lads who want to, can make it out to be as nasty, wicked or evil as you want. But I think it's marvelous and it's brought a bit of fame to Flamborough which is the best place on earth!

No one has mentioned that this was made by a bunch of flamborough inbreeds, and the statue is a offering to the god of incest worshipped by flamborough people for years THE WEIRD BUNCH OF HILLY BILLY RED NECKS !!!!

Congratulations re the myth, the media, the mystery and the beauty.
I wish I could claim that The Good Tea Band built this cairn (well, half of them did help!) and wish to add (on the cannon master's behalf) that no York poet was at the building of this monument, whatever he might claim or imply.

Nice one! You've come a long way since "Frankie goes to Burton Fleming"!May you continue to evoke the mysteries of the other world and the essences within-MadEddie.
A piece featured on the Yorkshire & Humber edition of Look North and I believe the report is still available to stream on their web pages. Commentary ran along the lines of ... "it appeared three days ago" and "no one knows who built it". I believe Peter Levy is to do an update on tonight's 6:00pm news. Well done for creating the mystery :)
Many thanks for posting the clips from the look north programme. we hope the mystery continues to inspire people. dont forget to send links to your own efforts, and pictures to the flickr "yorkshire land" art group. best wishes.
Ecellent video, well done and good job the Troll Tribe. Glad to see the tide was indeed out ;) Solstice Blessings and IO Saturnalia, let the Bacchinalian feasting continue!
