Fantastic! 8-big sound generators? I love it. I have a Roland D-50 which also has 8-bit samples. It makes for very musical sound; buzzy and a lot of overtones. I used to have 1040STe but I gave it away. That was idiotic of me. I am at the moment bidding for a 1040STe on eBay. Wich me luck.
Two very nice computers, I have them both. I love the Atari's MIDI interface, nice sounding simple tone generator and ROM OS. I love the Amiga's Multi Tasking OS, excellent 2d graphics and sampled sound capabilities.
