The intro was for the purpose of answering questions that people consistently ask on almost every Rubik's cube vid I've seen. If you had a genuine interest in the Revenge you'd have watched and learned something...
For finger tricks, using this algorithm is MUCH faster than spinning one side 180 and displacing the centers, especially when you get into the larger cubes (6x6 & 7x7) when constantly displacing the centers becomes time consuming...
Although I do love the Revenge for its ingenuity, my new personal favorite has become the 6x6 (still waiting for a creative name, I like "khaos cube" after the Greek mythological creation of the gods; this also is a good play on the creator, Greek inventor of v-cubes (Panagiotis Verdes). Though I doubt it is likely to catch on, I'm going to call the 6x6 my khaos cube, because it comes with the 2x2 and 3x3 within, but is more complex than the 4x4 with many more states of parity :D
Yeah, I love my V-Cube 6. It's the worst of the V-Cube series (Mechanically/technically speaking), but awesome in terms of versatility. It simulates a 3x3 much better than any other cube, and a 5x5 fairly well. The 4x4 sims are a bit sloppy on it, but why do a 4x4 when you have a 6x6? =D
I learned more information (personal and by word of mouth) that the Rubik's company has redesigned their cube for a much better product; so i you bought one that was made after January 2008 it should be a good cube, but all before are not so good
my 4x4x4 is staring to peel now and its over a year old but my 5x5x5 i got three weeks ago is already peeling i use each about 30mins a day and they are s**t to turn. Do you have to lube eastheen cubes?
You don't need to lubricate Eastsheen cubes. What you can do, however, is to loosen the screws. By gently loosening the screws, the edges will turn so much more smoothly. As for the stickers peeling, I haven't had any problems with that other than one sticker on my 5x5. I accidentally nicked the edge of the sticker with my fingernail and since then it became slightly deformed, but other than that, all of my stickers are in perfect condition. Lubrication can also cause stickers to peel
Gosh, I wish you'd said you're going to start by solving all the centers. It'd saved me 8 minutes of figuring out what you're doing.

dude, just turn the one layer 180 degrees instead of using such an algo...
turn it round, line the pair up, put it on the top or bottom and fix your centers...

Revenge is the best because it is 3 cubes in one, its a 2x, a 3, and a 4, . professor can only be a 5 or a 3.
