Ok. X21 probably means that it is 21 watts. It's different to a bulb because it's focused, you can't look into it. Well you can but you go blind for about 8 seconds then you're ok except for dark spots lol. (yes I did it) Um. A helicopter is 1400 watts usually so a bit of a difference there. Don't forget this video was done in a video camera's night mode that's why it is extra sensitive and choppy. It's a great torch I have it. It's more than a torch it's a portable light machine.

The ledlensers usually understate the lumens... I have an ultrafire that is rated at 1000 lumens and the x 21 is twice as bright due to the focusing mechanism - that is the main advantage of these lights - that and the run times, which are great...
yes the x21 is an ok light but if you want real bright light you need to look at a hid xenon brightness torch 35w. i think the x21 is 1500 lumens my hid torch is 3500 lumens i will post a video up shortly

Thanks for the video post. I just got a LED lenser T7 and I love it. It's a great little flashlight that fits in my pocket. previously only owned Mag-lites. Though compared to the P17, the T7 is a little dimmer with a shorter battery life (as expected), and the beam looks messier. I thought about buying a P17 or P14 for times when brightness would be more important than portability but the idea of having an X21 sounds wonderful.
The SR90 does 700 Lumen in LOW mode. Compared to that, the 900 Lumen of the X21 don't seem that great anymore. I also once had the chance to hold an X21 in my hands and compared to the olight it's like Fisher-Price.

2:30 and just think, if they would use the 35mm lenses like on the P14, rather than the smaller "Terminator" lenses which are the same lenses as the P7, the long distance throw would easily be effectively doubled, and would offer a wider flood.

I have the led lenser p7, p14, p17 and now the x21 as I use them for security work.
The p17 is very good but the x21 is awesome at deterring thieves from trying get on roofs or break into buildings with no working lights.

Very nice! I've got the cheapo L7 which I really like but I'm getting the P17 as the main flashlight to have around. I've also got the inova 3w. Not bad.

Thanks for the video post. I just got a LED lenser T7 and I love it. It's a great little flashlight that fits in my pocket. previously only owned Mag-lites. Though compared to the P17, the T7 is a little dimmer with a shorter battery life (as expected), and the beam looks messier. I thought about buying a P17 or P14 for times when brightness would be more important than portability but the idea of having an X21 sounds wonderful.

Meh. Not really impressive. I can almost get an Olight SR90 for that money, and in fact I did. THAT is an impressive flashlight.

The SR90 does 700 Lumen in LOW mode. Compared to that, the 900 Lumen of the X21 don't seem that great anymore. I also once had the chance to hold an X21 in my hands and compared to the olight it's like Fisher-Price.

2:30 and just think, if they would use the 35mm lenses like on the P14, rather than the smaller "Terminator" lenses which are the same lenses as the P7, the long distance throw would easily be effectively doubled, and would offer a wider flood.
