Wow so that was really creepy. I mean just the dog thing was really strange because my dog was a boxer/lab but she mostly looked lab, I did have a dog before but she was my first dog I cared about. And as she got older the same thing happened. That's actually why we put her to sleep and I believe that will be the saddest day of my life. Aw! This reminds me so much of my old dog. My mom had her before i was born and then she gave the dog to me when I was born. she was a terrier and I loved her to death. Anyways, she ended up getting cancer and a whole bunch of tumors. Near the end she could barely move. We had to put her to sleep and it was the saddest day. I remember sitting in my fifth grade class watching the clock for the time they were supposed to do it. I cried in the middle of class.
I am getting a dog this summer and im already a teen will i miss out on life. When does childhood end and you become a teen then adult? But the most saddest thing in my life happened when i was 5. MY dad got a dog for me her name was Maggie and well she was a psycopath but we built a bond that was strong. I have a 13 year old Bearded Collie now. She is getting old and tired.Before her I had a 13 year old Irish Setter. It hurts when you lose them but I guess it is always in the back of your mind that you will someday because of their lifespan. I will not get another one after I lose this one. Now I am old and tired.
Lol i understand about the dog thing. I have a yellow/white lab who's name is Dusty. I got him when I was five. I'm 12 now so he's 7, now i think 8 cuz he was born in march, and hes my whole house little chubby puppy. A year after we got him we got a girl who was 3 months in July, so she was born in april, so she's almost 7. Her name is Hunny. She's a mixed bred of a boxer and some type of hound, like a racing dog. She's our little protector. The reason we got her was cuz Dusty was really lonely
i had my dog for 13 years and she went through the same things that Raven did during her final days. It's heartbreaking. And even worse when you come home the next day and realize that they aren't there to greet you anymore.

I know the feeling aabout loosing an animal you love for that many years...I have a 15 yr old cat and i know she is getting older so i am preparing for when the time comes...i also lost an 18 yr old cat when i was 21 that was real hard. had him most my life at that point.

in december we had to put our cat (who was only 3) to sleep and then 4 days later our other cat ran away. WOW that was a sucky week. (but we found her =) )

As for the dog thing, My first dog and I were born on the same day, we had a Clavin and Hobbes-ish relationship up until 2001 (we were 11) when we finally said goodbye.
The two of us were inseperable... He'd lie on my floor when I was working and i'd lay with my head on his belly watching TV.
Really in a way he was my brother, and I think about him every day (Bull mastiff by the way, odd for a baby to hang around I know).
Deep down, we think one of our our new dogs is his reincarnation =3

Aw! This reminds me so much of my old dog. My mom had her before i was born and then she gave the dog to me when I was born. she was a terrier and I loved her to death. Anyways, she ended up getting cancer and a whole bunch of tumors. Near the end she could barely move. We had to put her to sleep and it was the saddest day. I remember sitting in my fifth grade class watching the clock for the time they were supposed to do it. I cried in the middle of class.

I am getting a dog this summer and im already a teen will i miss out on life. When does childhood end and you become a teen then adult? But the most saddest thing in my life happened when i was 5. MY dad got a dog for me her name was Maggie and well she was a psycopath but we built a bond that was strong. When i came home that day she was gone my mom gave her away and I NEVER GOT TO SAY ONE LAST CRUSHEL WORD TO MAGGIE...Good bye.

I have a 13 year old Bearded Collie now. She is getting old and tired.Before her I had a 13 year old Irish Setter. It hurts when you lose them but I guess it is always in the back of your mind that you will someday because of their lifespan. I will not get another one after I lose this one. Now I am old and tired.

Lol i understand about the dog thing. I have a yellow/white lab who's name is Dusty. I got him when I was five. I'm 12 now so he's 7, now i think 8 cuz he was born in march, and hes my whole house little chubby puppy. A year after we got him we got a girl who was 3 months in July, so she was born in april, so she's almost 7. Her name is Hunny. She's a mixed bred of a boxer and some type of hound, like a racing dog. She's our little protector. The reason we got her was cuz Dusty was really lonely
