"Love Is the Answer" is a song written by Todd Rundgren for his band Utopia. It is the final track on their 1977 album Oops! Wrong Planet."
Todd's version is by far the best. Most versions of the songs after his lack that "singer-songwriter intensity/verve" you can hear when Rundgren sings it. He's "feeling" it when he sings; most others, it simply sounds like they are reading the lyrics off a lyric sheet. Please youtube Todd's version, and listen to his voice, as the lyrics flow from within.

Just for clarification, this is actually a Todd Rundgren & Utopia song. Rundgren wrote the song and England Dan & John Ford Coley covered it.
