I think General Clark would've brought far more to the ticket having military credentals that dwarf McCain's, and he would also do alot better in the south with all those military families. Let's face it there are people in this world who are not able to go further than minimum wage. Not everyone has the intelligence to get a college degree. Not everyone has the talent needed to be a successful entreprenaur. So you can't say minimum wage is just for starting out. It isn't always. And it should be a living wage.

Anyone can get a college degree if they've been given the opportunity to prepare for it, if they have the proper background. Government money injected into education has created an environment where teachers think they are actually worth what they earn. I liked what I saw from Biden in his speech from Saturday. I think it's a good move, for 3 reasons. 1, Obama needs to get tougher. You could say, well if this is all Johnny Applef&%ker has got, it's not too bad then, but I doubt that. Obama has to hit back just as hard, we have not seen it yet, and that worries me. 2, Hillary and Bill are bigger liabilites than Biden. 3, Clinton voters really need to get over the defeat and get with the program. Kudos for not giving in to them.

1. Joe Biden brings the best foreign policy mind in Washington, blue collar roots, and Scranton PA.
2. The founding fathers already try the "second place takes VP" thing. It wasn't pretty, and by the time Thomas Jefferson was elected president they did away with that with the 12th amendment. Primary elections aren't all that different. 18 million votes does not entitle Hillary to get the VP job. Her ability to work WITH Obama does.

I don't think Biden's a bad choice just not the best choice. I think General Clark would've brought far more to the ticket having military credentals that dwarf McCain's, and he would also do alot better in the south with all those military families. He also brings executive command experience and has actually won a war thus eliminating a major talking point of McCain's.
Obama was probably pressured into choosing Biden by senior senate Democrats like Daschle and Durbin.
