  • @betamonkey2 HAHAHAHA so true

  • I wouldn't be surprised that a shit ton of people would know how to do this better because there are a shit ton of people who made it to the forth week of wrestling season their freshman year. This is a basic wrestling move, best left to basic wrestlers.

  • @betamonkey2 What experts?

  • @betamonkey2 becuz this experct isnt doing it so right.

  • However Cross training is always a good idea especially when you feel you've hit a plateau or what a new perspective or outlook on grappling or whatever, but in my opinion NO-GI BJJ is the best.

  • BJJ avoided the fatal flaws that vicitimized Judo and many many other fighting styles in which its ego wasnt soooo big that it would refuse to look to other arts to continue to evolve. because BJJ was born outa the Vale Tudo world its primary goal is WINNING not remaining some ancient untouched style so BJJ takes from Wrestling/Judo/and many other styles and its not with the NO-GI advancement the most complete Grappling style in the world I mean look and the ADCC medalers seriously look up ADCC!

  • @universalpopper its not that, its just that here in america people are more open minded, cuz those stubborn brazilians think their art is the best and u dont need to know anything else. If it wasnt for eddie bravo (an american) we wouldnt have no gi.

  • @535manbearpig

Eddie Bravo is a f$cking junkie. He never won anything. F3ck him and his rubber guard.

  • @bpinnak so what if he likes some weed. Also he beat a gracie so he did win something, and about his rubber guard, to each his own bud. I dont really care about these stupid rivalries, i just learn what they teach me and if its simple and doable i apply it, if not then to hell with those moves. Which gracie barra u train at? i train in gb orlando.

  • @535manbearpig

It's ok if he likes some weed. He talked about how weed help him with BJJ. I would never let my kids train with him. He set bad example. He beat one gracie, but he never won a big title ever. I train at gb Clearwater. Hey, could train at GB Orlando for free right? If you a GB member.

  • @bpinnak yeah u can train at gb orlando they got this thing were if u got a gb shirt from anywhere ur accepted in every gb around the world

  • 2 Judo doesnt allow leg/ankle locks 3 it focuses mostly on Tachi Waza or the standing aspect and is very sportish and clean. Greco Roman/Freestyle wrestling are great but dont teach you to finish a fight aka submission and put the wrestler in dangerous positions sometimes interms of them getting sub'd by a BJJ fighter. Sambo might be one of the best behind BJJ but again they wear a Gi jacket which is not as practical in MMA/Reality as NO-GI and they dont seem to do too much guard work.

  • Their are more grappling arts then just BJJ the problem is BJJ is the most complete and is evolving faster than any of the others as of now. I've studied BJJ and wrestled in HS and have trained in Judo. Judo is very good but has a few flaws 1: its only done with a gi so its not practical as practical as No-Gi BJJ in MMA/reality based situation of course the moves with work and its better than no training at all but once the gi comes off its hard to adjust sometimes.

  • there are more grappling art then just bjj. sambo, judo, catch, greco to name a few

  • despite the arguments on either side, i went outside my house and grappled a friend of mine who has 48 pounds on me... and it worked.

i don't care if these guys aren't champions, the move works

  • Kill me with what? Their lackluster grappling skills and nonexistent striking abilities? These guys don't even know elementary BJJ or day one wrestling techniques, I doubt they're gonna pose a threat to someone who actually has wrestling pedigree, and trains with NAGA champions.

  • There actual "experts" have no legit wrestling or BJJ backgrounds. One of these guys is a karateka.

  • Do you have any proof of what you're saying? hell, I bet you don't even know what karateka means.

  • First of all, it even says in the video description that one of these guys is a karateka (a practitioner of karate). Neither of these guys are belted in BJJ, and have not even participated in Naga, or any other no gi grappling competition; ergo, they have no room to be teaching BJJ or no gi grappling techniques.

  • Even though the guy is a karateka, he knows more than the average armchair warrior sitting at their computer slagging off expertvillage because the instructors aren't number 1 fighters.

Besides, some forms of karate cover grappling and throws, and you can tell that this guy knows what he's talking about from his instruction alone

  • yeees I have to agry with u

  • Although they do not directly say it... from observation they are Judoka.

Judoka are versed in throws and grappling.

  • Its called a high crotch to a firemans roll dumbass

  • great vid thanks

  • very good! Key point that alot of bjj guys and judo guys forget. When No GI, you need the inside grip on the elbow like the guy in the video does. I'v seen so many where the guy doesnt do it! congrats on getting it right. Lots of guys learn this with the gi and dont need the inside grip. Good video guys!
