JJ, When Obama said he was giving money to the poor there was so many outcries. Bush gives billions to the rich and I haven't heard those same folks say a word. Thank you for the post. You are correct I am afraid. I think Bush has cushioned his leavibg office by creating alot of millionaires he can call on when he leaves office.I also think he is trying to undermine Obama by what he is doing instead of doing it the way Obama wanted. I never heard much about the outcries but I can imagine. There are substantially large sums of money to be lost by financially assisting the poor. Interest bearing businesses would loose a bundle if folks with no money could suddenly pay their credit cards or other debts off. Debt is huge business. Bonds are based on debt and even the Forex markets can be played base on international interest rates if one prefers. Take away debt and a lot of HUGE businesses are in trouble.

500K to the head of every househould with a 12 month freeze on the price of everything then lift the freeze to allow prices to increase at a pace that is normal. I know this money would be blown but so what. That is the point. Banks got billions and still there is foreclosure.That is unlawful in my book. My bank got 25 billion and I cant get service when I go there coz of lack of people and I have to go there coz they refuse to answer phones. OGG!
I've been watching this comming for 2 years now. It will not end. The USA as it was is at an end by the hand of that which made it what it was.
Industry has found fantastic profits in moving operations to poorer countries. Free trade has been a cash cow for companies, but it ignores the community for whom it serves. While saving millions by employing people from overseas, industry has been putting its primary customers, Americans, out of work and Americans didn't care cause it was cheap.
If money was given to the head of every household homes would be bought. Taxes would be paid on that money. Cars would be bought. Credit cards would be paid off. Food and clothes would be bought. Everyone would win if it was done the way I have said. But no. What did they do instead? Give billions to the RICH. Not a penny has been reliezed of that money by the needful. Not one red cent!
