imagine that guy driving his (rhd) xsi and when it hits that loud ass vtec the smile on his face.. ha,ha That to me is priceless. Nothing can compare. Oh maybe some pure hot sex.. Lol
@dofnch not all are vtec. some are SOHC injected with honda's PGM-FI (same as b16a) and some have dual keishin carbs on an engine called the 'ZC' . not sure if thats just DA7's tho
@dofnch...Sorry but no they aren't. The rsi and xsi shared the b16a with the rsi being the base and xsi being w/option. All other early integra's such as the rx, zx, rxi, and zxi shared ZC single cam motors. Also in 1991 they introduced the first 1.8l honda integra w/ a b18b dohc non vtec which was the esi. Just helping you out yo.
if you're being sarcastic about whp numbers you obviously haven't a clue about circuit driving. that's a nice drive in a good handling car. stick to your burnouts in car parks ;)
Nice, fast and smooth. My old DA6 didn't quite go that fast but does bring back nice memories. Does the owner/driver want to post what mods have been done to the car?
He probably has the same mods any circuit car has. Chassis bars up the yang, big rear sway bar and rear biased springs with some hard shocks. Don't forget new bushings all round and an alignment and you're set. I am in love with my DA, I can't wait till it's as fast as this (one day haha)
I wish I still had mine, however the gearboxes never seemed to last (I blew up two) and it cost too much money to keep on the road. The YS1 gearboxes did not fit into the 89 DA6 model, only the S1 - which seem to be in short supply in NZ :)
ys1 fits in no problems?? just gota get in and do it no dramas they cum in the same chassis. broke 2! man ive had the same gearbox for ten years, the original that the car was fitted with in 1990. and its fine, puts up well with the increased power from my B20b DOHC VTEC. may have to try driving it smoother cuz, choice
