@skankishaable but she's very unpredictable she looks very similar 2 a common female infected at a distance,sometimes she will spawn in a very crowded area and sometimes she can be harder 2 avoid and touching her will make her scream and attack,unlike the siting witch,the range for angering her has been severely reduced i stood by her for 9 sec i stood by the siting one for 5 sec.
@Rhy2412 shes not THAT hard to find. yes she'd spawn in a crowded area more often. 9 seconds? ok the wandering witch yes, its possible. but 5 seconds around the sitting witch? nope. more like 2 seconds. if you were playing on easy then yeah 5 seconds, if not, way less than that
@skankishaable even on realism vs the wandering witch can be deadly ,some players think she wont attack when u touch her thus setting her off,sometimes u wont get a tactical and combat shotgun either,yea she's way easier to kill but more unpredictable then the sitting witch,when a horde comes the walking witch blends right in,the siting one is startled in 4 sec on expert the walking one is startled in 9 secs. for vs 2
@Rhy2412 you dont need a tactical nor a combat shotgun to crown her. you can use the pump or chrome. but anyways, the witch really gets starled after 4 seconds on expert? i'd have to check that out since normally i either ignore her when not in the way or go up and crown if she is.
@skankishaable what i,ve noticed is that the AI(artifical intelligence) command loves putting her in a vital area of the level where the players must startle her,invetitably a witch WILL be startled.if u manage 2 avoid her the AI will do 2 things spawn another 1 and put her in a vital area,or in the next level will put her in a vital area,in narrow levels,quater,sugar mill,coaster,barns avoidance can be hard.
@Rhy2412 i've noticed that too. if you avoid her, she is spawned in a more narrow passage way. the more you crown her, the more she is spawned. the more you startle her, the more she appears. either way, she will always spawn.
P.S im not too sure on the one where you startle her would then that make her appear more often, but that is what i've heard.
@skankishaable i do all kinds of experiments,the more u avoid her the more she'll be put in narrow passages,the more u cr0wn her she will be spawned more freuqently(if cr0wned in all chapters of a campain except the level before the finale CAN have up 2-4 WITCHES) on hihger difficulties (advanced,expert she WILL most likely be put in areas the survivors MUST GO 2 PASS THE LEVEL) sometime on expert and advanced when u startle her the AI can summon a horde ,the same can be done with a tank .
@skankishaable no she CAN spawn 2-4 times on the level BEFORE the finale(4th or 3rd level)usaully on expert and advanced,on campains like dark carnival,the passing,hard rain and the parish,it can be hard 2 avoid her overall,especailly in the passing where avoidance can be near impossible thanks 2 the level having ALOT of NARROW passways and it being a SITING WITCH MAKES MATTER WORSE,try 2 burn her,or get a propane tank 2 stumble her.

@skankishaable sometimes she just spawns twice and it doesnt have to be on advanced and expert for her to spawn this(spawns 2-4 times cause she did no damage to survivors) sometimes a glitch will happen and two witch will spawn in the same general area,and wander in the same direction if this happens take EXTREME CAUTION NOT STARTLE THEM,if unavoidable try 2 burn her this limits her ability to kil(not in realism and expert)land slows her down(this glitch is common in the sugar mill).
@Rhy2412 Well, Witches are fun to cr0wn, but not to mess with. I have no problem in going after her if she's in the way, even if it's on expert or realism. Just as long as no one gets in my way.
@skankishaable in vs alot of people try 2 cr0wn her.heres a secret,before the survivors meet the witch crouch behind her when she notices them SCRATCH HERthis gets her anger at it peak(is a very effective tactic can be done with all infected) i do it all the time and makes wandering witches near immposible 2 avoid when im playing since she spawns in narrow areas, ;) hope i helped

@skankishaable as long as there's a witch there's a way. dont forget.since her movements r erratic a jockey is recommended(unless in a narrow passege of course). works well on realism vs to.
@skankishaable in realism vs it basically realism put on vs mode,which means 1 hit from the witch means death,(works really well in the sugar mill)if a boomer dies by the witch she stumbles and anybody next 2,or sees her is put at high risk of death,sometimes she spawns at the start of the level where most of the time NO defids can be found utilze this.
@skankishaable realism is just good overall,causes the survivors 2 do extra teamwork,the witch is and can be a big problem,the infected are at a very big advantage,it causes the survivors to be challanged as a team.
@Rhy2412 i know it is! which is why i voted yes. the witch is dangerous, which is why i dont risk myself cr0wning her in versus. but if we have to kill her, i do.
@skankishaable even cr0wning can be hard,since they will set up by her or force the team 2 deal with her quickly,(smokers do this a lot) human controlled jockey ARE DANGEROUS WHEN A WITCH IS NEAR,the best thing u can do is avoidance,cr0wning, or BURN her, frag rounds, render her stuned,gives ample time 2 kill her,hordes r harder 2 kill recommend using melee weapons,or pistols(headshots).
@skankishaable they do this with the wandering witch 2 since the AI loves putting her in even more crowded areas than the witch at night.1 molotov can mean the difference between life and death(gas cans too) she WILL always 100% spawn in the 1st level of the passing,she's the panic event when she attacks, the wedding zombie horde is triggered human player usaully set up here.
@skankishaable its addicting even if she kills u,we come back for more i can cr0wn her with a gernade launcher and melee weapons,just shoot next 2 her and she stumbles then hit her with the butt of your melee weapon then hit her with it,i like doing it (works well with sitting witch) finding out alot of new ways 2 kill her without her scratching anybody cause its fun 2 do :D
@skankishaable propane and oxygen tanks work which makes it even better,u can shoot her with a sniper from the farthest area possible,when done right she might be close but dies while running,u and a teamate can attack the wandering witch with melee weapons before she attacks(cause she screams then attacks)well-placed pipe bombs can decintergrate her followed by a scream(very close 2 her or she WILL stumble other )wise
@Rhy2412 i think i've said it before, its always fun to melee the witch to death. my friends do it all the time. but i mostly cr0wn. everything works, but my fave is to cr0wn. it makes you feel superior lol
@skankishaable i love killing her any way possible,the most common way i kill her is by burning her,on difficulties like expert the AI will most likely spawn her in the way the survivors must go,if u avoid her the AI WILL ensure 2 put her in the way,so i say BURN-BABY,BURN DICSO INFERNO,LOL,if i cant burn,i cr0wn,or stumble her it makes me feel superior over this wench,bitch,hooker who has caused me alot of pain.
@skankishaable have u any idea of how many CHEAP kills,spawning by the saferoom,and in finales(when the AI is feeling cruel). this wench has given me cheap kills and having 2 restart the WHOLE lvl because of her?! thats just plain crazy.
@Rhy2412 lol but thats what makes it challenging. it prepares you for what might happen in later games. but not always must you have the restart the level.
@skankishaable lol i guess shes fun to kill and to use,overall shes a good infected,for the survivors killing her can get hard if their are no shotguns,for the infected using her can be fun and dramatically hurt one person,and makes them use health kits,shes one of the few infected that humans that r the survivors and infected that kile her spawning cause she makes things challenging and using the wandering 1 requires practice.
@Rhy2412 For the infected team its a huge advantage. The infected team usually huddles up around her and waits for survivors to approach. Once you her dramatic scream, you make that short giggle saying "hell yeah". Works well with the sitting witch when you scratch her aswell.
@skankishaable yeap works with wandering witch very well since she hates being touched, and in narrow passes shes hard 2 kill even with the auto shoties,recommed using jockeys or smokers cause they work well with both,and could accidently shoot her and u(smokers can be very hard 2 shoot cause the witch is stnading, great chance of being startled jockeys can turn the tables with this tactic ) a challenge overall withces WILL be startled.
@skankishaable looking at the survivors weapons can help to,if three dont have auto shoties and one has a sniper try 2 get the sniper person cause 1 shot in the head while shes crying is all they need,people with molotovs try 2 throw and run,if your a charger try spawning behind them 2 bring the person 2 her,smokers can snag them 2 her,jockeys overall can be annoying,if timed correctly with chargers u can bring one by her this causes panic and has high chances of making her attack.
@Rhy2412 i agree. i always check what my opponents have in stock. especially when a tank is approaching. i warn them to beware the one with the molotov.
@skankishaable like i said before witches(this includes the wandering 1 too)WILL BE PROVOCAKED and/or attack,many people think u can cr0wn the wandering witch with a sniper but it only works on stationary witches(the sitting ones),take advantage of pyromaniacs who try 2 burn her after she's incapped someone,oh and look out for survivors that have pipe bombs it can make her stumble and make her an idle victim. l4d-l4d2 witches=amazing teamate and challenging foe overall.
@Rhy2412 she does get provoked. almost always someone startles her. i get mad cause i tell them to not go foward, and they still do so. i always get her out of our way but people ruin it.
@skankishaable i try 2 play with friends even if they dont have mics i tell them i WILL deal with her,sometimes when i just play with anyone she gets provoked A LOT(sometimes the wandering witch gets so agitated her arms r spread out all the way and she's moaning loudly and stops walking)and the sitting 1 is provoked a lot in a short time since teams think ON EXPERT the whole team can run by her.
@skankishaable on higher difficulties her temper is SHORTER(the sitting ones) being startled in less than 5 sec,and the teams i,ve played with try 2 run by her,its very risky since she attacks The last member of the group,aleast some throw molotovs,but all around,avoidance,killing her without anyone getting hurt with just FORCE the AI 2 spawn more my record is 2-4 witches before the finale,the dark carnivals barns is deadly
@skankishaable since the barns lvl is short the AI spawns witches like no tomorrow,i've seen 2 before the panic event,one put by the panic event,and the last by the saferoom,then as i go 2 the saferoom a tanks arm can be seen through the wall so i throw a molo(after cr0wning that wench) and close the door,and as a team we had 2 fend off tons of zombis,i was surprised i cheated death like that on expert.
@Rhy2412 that is very true. usually she can spawn three times. and everrytime when i play she spawns twice. the first is somewhere near those mini games, like the mole wacker. the other one is right in front of the gate (right at the switch to open the gates) and the last one is somewhere near the saferoom. its very harsh but i manage to make it. never have i gotten a tank spawn during the panic event. luck me lol
@skankishaable i,ve noticed the AI on some levels in any campaign, has FAVORITE SPAWNING places for TANKS,and WITCHES,ex: on the highway level(l4d2 only)the AI will sometimes spwans tanks and/or witches as soon as u leave the hotel,when u go up the hill this is by far his FAVORITE PLACE 2 SPAWN WITCHES,TANKS,and ALARMED CARS,if unlucky u could get this whole package of destruction,i have once sadly.
@skankishaable yes i,ve noticed that witches most of the time spawn in the place where the whack-a-mole game is and tanks often do too.experiment on advanced if u play often,its not to hard 2 study the AI without dying.he DOES HAVE FAVORITE SPOTS THAT CAN MAKE IT HARD TO AVOID her and tanks WILL be 99% unavoidable
@Rhy2412 Everytime I play a campaign, I've noticed "hot spots". Those hot spots are where the AI spawns certain infected. Everytime I reach that point, I stop and think for a while. I prepare myself, and ready for battler. I always have my self ready. Certain places are terrible, and my team is forced to start over because we know we'll fail in that certain area. It pisses me off, but every game, I then know what spawns where. But of course, not always would it be 100%.
@skankishaable sometimes witches don't spawn in the hot spot,and on higher difficulties the AI will spawn her more than on easy, even on normal she can spawn 2-4 times.some levels don't have hot spots so she can appear throughout the entire level,ex: the park(l4d2 only) on expert she spawns in the alley,in the trailer,at the begining,in hedges,at panic event,and sometimes after the panic event.
@Rhy2412 the wandering witch is HIGHLY UNDERESTIMATED becuase she cant be startled easily like the sitting ,but she's tricky at levels like the quarter(l4d2 only) she can spawn all over the place,at the panic event,at the begining,in the bar,in the long street,at the end,and in the very narrow halls,ive noticed that the wandering witches can spawn in alot of places in 1 level.
@skankishaable sitting witches usually spawn in in specific areas and certain spots within that area,its uncommon 2 see a sitting witch spawn in a vastly different area,1 difference between the sitting and wandering witch is that once u pass the sitting one the conflict is over,when u pass the wandering 1 the CONFLICT CAN start up again,most commonly on levels like the streets,the park,millitown and the sugar mill
@Rhy2412 overall sitting witches r commonly predictable and if u kno these hot spots she can pose little threat commonly(when killed correctly),the wandering witch is VERY UNPREDICTABLE spawning at the wrong place at the wrong time she CAN BE DEADLY AT THE PANIC EVENTS,she looks like a nromal zombie at a distance when other zombies r present,she hates being touched and can make more than 1 comflict.
@Rhy2412 Well, no matter what the situation, I LOVE demolishing them. All the time! Even on expert realism. No matter where she is, I hunt her down. Only when Im low on health, or when I have no time. But overall, shes fun to startle too.
@skankishaable i still have trouble cr0wning her with a combat and tactical shotgun(on normal,advanced and expert),dying alot on expert so i save a gas can or snip her in the head and then melee her with my weapon.but im still learning how 2 cr0wn her with a tactical and combat shotgun correctly,so any tips? i can cr0wn wandering witches but not the sitting ones
@skankishaable she CAN spawn in the darkcarnival,dead center and the parish finales but it only happens when the AI is feeling saddistic(the pleasure of seeing one getting hurt physically or emotionally) just becareful of the wandering witch i kno it takes alot 2 startle her and she seems easy 2 kill but dont be tricked sometimes spawning in rooms and right around corners and accidently shooting her,this is the human reaction good luck and becareful.
@skankishaable the AI CAN also SPAWN HER BY panic events that causes the horde 2 attack.this forces the players 2 startle her.sometimes when the AI is feeling cruel she CAN be spawned just outside the SAFEROOM door,and tanks CAN spawn in the SAFEROOM,listen for heavy breathing sometimes u can see one of its body parts sticking out the wall of the saferoom so dont walk into a saferoom thinking it safe.
one lvl i dont like it's the sugar mill first time i played that i slowed down alot cause i heard witches but that just makes more spawn and i killed 4 witches and i was about half though D: so i quit XD and abot 3 days later i did it :D
actually she was dumped during the wedding! she was infected then when the guy said no she went crazy and infected everybody and thats how she starts crying
but in the dlc the passing she is waering here wedding gown

I know that there's usually a horde when someone gets Boomered on even when there's a tank. It also usually happens when you speed through the level.

@skankishaable realism is just good overall,causes the survivors 2 do extra teamwork,the witch is and can be a big problem,the infected are at a very big advantage,it causes the survivors to be challanged as a team.

@skankishaable even cr0wning can be hard,since they will set up by her or force the team 2 deal with her quickly,(smokers do this a lot) human controlled jockey ARE DANGEROUS WHEN A WITCH IS NEAR,the best thing u can do is avoidance,cr0wning, or BURN her, frag rounds, render her stuned,gives ample time 2 kill her,hordes r harder 2 kill recommend using melee weapons,or pistols(headshots).

@skankishaable they do this with the wandering witch 2 since the AI loves putting her in even more crowded areas than the witch at night.1 molotov can mean the difference between life and death(gas cans too) she WILL always 100% spawn in the 1st level of the passing,she's the panic event when she attacks, the wedding zombie horde is triggered human player usaully set up here.

@skankishaable in the underground she can spwan in alot of different areas from the beginning 2 the end,but she spawns most in the sewer and houses.

@skankishaable its addicting even if she kills u,we come back for more i can cr0wn her with a gernade launcher and melee weapons,just shoot next 2 her and she stumbles then hit her with the butt of your melee weapon then hit her with it,i like doing it (works well with sitting witch) finding out alot of new ways 2 kill her without her scratching anybody cause its fun 2 do :D

@skankishaable propane and oxygen tanks work which makes it even better,u can shoot her with a sniper from the farthest area possible,when done right she might be close but dies while running,u and a teamate can attack the wandering witch with melee weapons before she attacks(cause she screams then attacks)well-placed pipe bombs can decintergrate her followed by a scream(very close 2 her or she WILL stumble other )wise

@skankishaable i love killing her any way possible,the most common way i kill her is by burning her,on difficulties like expert the AI will most likely spawn her in the way the survivors must go,if u avoid her the AI WILL ensure 2 put her in the way,so i say BURN-BABY,BURN DICSO INFERNO,LOL,if i cant burn,i cr0wn,or stumble her it makes me feel superior over this wench,bitch,hooker who has caused me alot of pain.

@skankishaable have u any idea of how many CHEAP kills,spawning by the saferoom,and in finales(when the AI is feeling cruel). this wench has given me cheap kills and having 2 restart the WHOLE lvl because of her?! thats just plain crazy.

@skankishaable lol i guess shes fun to kill and to use,overall shes a good infected,for the survivors killing her can get hard if their are no shotguns,for the infected using her can be fun and dramatically hurt one person,and makes them use health kits,shes one of the few infected that humans that r the survivors and infected that kile her spawning cause she makes things challenging and using the wandering 1 requires practice.

@Rhy2412 For the infected team its a huge advantage. The infected team usually huddles up around her and waits for survivors to approach. Once you her dramatic scream, you make that short giggle saying "hell yeah". Works well with the sitting witch when you scratch her aswell.

@skankishaable yeap works with wandering witch very well since she hates being touched, and in narrow passes shes hard 2 kill even with the auto shoties,recommed using jockeys or smokers cause they work well with both,and could accidently shoot her and u(smokers can be very hard 2 shoot cause the witch is stnading, great chance of being startled jockeys can turn the tables with this tactic ) a challenge overall withces WILL be startled.

@skankishaable looking at the survivors weapons can help to,if three dont have auto shoties and one has a sniper try 2 get the sniper person cause 1 shot in the head while shes crying is all they need,people with molotovs try 2 throw and run,if your a charger try spawning behind them 2 bring the person 2 her,smokers can snag them 2 her,jockeys overall can be annoying,if timed correctly with chargers u can bring one by her this causes panic and has high chances of making her attack.

@skankishaable like i said before witches(this includes the wandering 1 too)WILL BE PROVOCAKED and/or attack,many people think u can cr0wn the wandering witch with a sniper but it only works on stationary witches(the sitting ones),take advantage of pyromaniacs who try 2 burn her after she's incapped someone,oh and look out for survivors that have pipe bombs it can make her stumble and make her an idle victim. l4d-l4d2 witches=amazing teamate and challenging foe overall.

@Rhy2412 she does get provoked. almost always someone startles her. i get mad cause i tell them to not go foward, and they still do so. i always get her out of our way but people ruin it.

@skankishaable i try 2 play with friends even if they dont have mics i tell them i WILL deal with her,sometimes when i just play with anyone she gets provoked A LOT(sometimes the wandering witch gets so agitated her arms r spread out all the way and she's moaning loudly and stops walking)and the sitting 1 is provoked a lot in a short time since teams think ON EXPERT the whole team can run by her.

@skankishaable on higher difficulties her temper is SHORTER(the sitting ones) being startled in less than 5 sec,and the teams i,ve played with try 2 run by her,its very risky since she attacks The last member of the group,aleast some throw molotovs,but all around,avoidance,killing her without anyone getting hurt with just FORCE the AI 2 spawn more my record is 2-4 witches before the finale,the dark carnivals barns is deadly

@skankishaable since the barns lvl is short the AI spawns witches like no tomorrow,i've seen 2 before the panic event,one put by the panic event,and the last by the saferoom,then as i go 2 the saferoom a tanks arm can be seen through the wall so i throw a molo(after cr0wning that wench) and close the door,and as a team we had 2 fend off tons of zombis,i was surprised i cheated death like that on expert.

@Rhy2412 that is very true. usually she can spawn three times. and everrytime when i play she spawns twice. the first is somewhere near those mini games, like the mole wacker. the other one is right in front of the gate (right at the switch to open the gates) and the last one is somewhere near the saferoom. its very harsh but i manage to make it. never have i gotten a tank spawn during the panic event. luck me lol

@skankishaable i,ve noticed the AI on some levels in any campaign, has FAVORITE SPAWNING places for TANKS,and WITCHES,ex: on the highway level(l4d2 only)the AI will sometimes spwans tanks and/or witches as soon as u leave the hotel,when u go up the hill this is by far his FAVORITE PLACE 2 SPAWN WITCHES,TANKS,and ALARMED CARS,if unlucky u could get this whole package of destruction,i have once sadly.

@skankishaable yes i,ve noticed that witches most of the time spawn in the place where the whack-a-mole game is and tanks often do too.experiment on advanced if u play often,its not to hard 2 study the AI without dying.he DOES HAVE FAVORITE SPOTS THAT CAN MAKE IT HARD TO AVOID her and tanks WILL be 99% unavoidable

@Rhy2412 Everytime I play a campaign, I've noticed "hot spots". Those hot spots are where the AI spawns certain infected. Everytime I reach that point, I stop and think for a while. I prepare myself, and ready for battler. I always have my self ready. Certain places are terrible, and my team is forced to start over because we know we'll fail in that certain area. It pisses me off, but every game, I then know what spawns where. But of course, not always would it be 100%.

@skankishaable sometimes witches don't spawn in the hot spot,and on higher difficulties the AI will spawn her more than on easy, even on normal she can spawn 2-4 times.some levels don't have hot spots so she can appear throughout the entire level,ex: the park(l4d2 only) on expert she spawns in the alley,in the trailer,at the begining,in hedges,at panic event,and sometimes after the panic event.

@Rhy2412 the wandering witch is HIGHLY UNDERESTIMATED becuase she cant be startled easily like the sitting ,but she's tricky at levels like the quarter(l4d2 only) she can spawn all over the place,at the panic event,at the begining,in the bar,in the long street,at the end,and in the very narrow halls,ive noticed that the wandering witches can spawn in alot of places in 1 level.

@skankishaable sitting witches usually spawn in in specific areas and certain spots within that area,its uncommon 2 see a sitting witch spawn in a vastly different area,1 difference between the sitting and wandering witch is that once u pass the sitting one the conflict is over,when u pass the wandering 1 the CONFLICT CAN start up again,most commonly on levels like the streets,the park,millitown and the sugar mill

@Rhy2412 overall sitting witches r commonly predictable and if u kno these hot spots she can pose little threat commonly(when killed correctly),the wandering witch is VERY UNPREDICTABLE spawning at the wrong place at the wrong time she CAN BE DEADLY AT THE PANIC EVENTS,she looks like a nromal zombie at a distance when other zombies r present,she hates being touched and can make more than 1 comflict.

@Rhy2412 Well, no matter what the situation, I LOVE demolishing them. All the time! Even on expert realism. No matter where she is, I hunt her down. Only when Im low on health, or when I have no time. But overall, shes fun to startle too.

@skankishaable i still have trouble cr0wning her with a combat and tactical shotgun(on normal,advanced and expert),dying alot on expert so i save a gas can or snip her in the head and then melee her with my weapon.but im still learning how 2 cr0wn her with a tactical and combat shotgun correctly,so any tips? i can cr0wn wandering witches but not the sitting ones

@skankishaable she CAN spawn in the darkcarnival,dead center and the parish finales but it only happens when the AI is feeling saddistic(the pleasure of seeing one getting hurt physically or emotionally) just becareful of the wandering witch i kno it takes alot 2 startle her and she seems easy 2 kill but dont be tricked sometimes spawning in rooms and right around corners and accidently shooting her,this is the human reaction good luck and becareful.

@skankishaable the AI CAN also SPAWN HER BY panic events that causes the horde 2 attack.this forces the players 2 startle her.sometimes when the AI is feeling cruel she CAN be spawned just outside the SAFEROOM door,and tanks CAN spawn in the SAFEROOM,listen for heavy breathing sometimes u can see one of its body parts sticking out the wall of the saferoom so dont walk into a saferoom thinking it safe.

one lvl i dont like it's the sugar mill first time i played that i slowed down alot cause i heard witches but that just makes more spawn and i killed 4 witches and i was about half though D: so i quit XD and abot 3 days later i did it :D
