i remember watching this live in '96 when i was 7 yrs old. my sister and i used to mimic bailey's winning strides when he looks at the crowd with his mouth wide open, euphoric. classic.
Can you imagine how fast Bailey could of been if he had been a decent starter? Honestly I don't think there has ever been someone that fast over the final 50m.
@CanadaMMA ya he tried to time the start and got caught as he relaxed for a split second. got out of the hole like a sloth and proceeded to blow everyone away on the top end.
I tried to get his WR race at the Olympics but either the Facebook or You Tube controllers are probably American and blocked it so the rest of the World cannot see it everywhere.
Soreheads because they never ever before were beaten in Track and Field before in history like this. Especially in their Own Country. I guess the Blue Jays winning both their WS was more than they could stand,Lol.
I miss Don Wittman and Geoff Gowan....Best track and field voices ever...
