Hello. I love this re-mix of 'Down Under'. In the beginning, you show the Vinyl Extended Mix, is the song featured from the same Vinyl? If so, do you know any possible details about the song release on Vinyl. I already have the original but this one is a fab example, sounds almost like a 'Men At Work's own release'. Please let me know (:
Hi, There are two tracks. The video starts off with Chris Racine Mix, looping the intro and extending sections of the original LP track. Then around 4:50, I crossfade to most of the end of Greg Ham 12” single version, which is the vinyl you are seeing at the beginning of the video. Here is a link to hear just the vinyl version in it's entirety. Have a great holiday. youtube.com/watch?v=qDGYqW-btp8&NR
@soupnmusic Okay, thank you for the quick response (: Do you know if the Chris Racine Mix was released on Vinyl? As I am seriously into Vinyl, only being 15 years of age, I am into these much better songs than today's music.
Yes, It was released once on a hot tracks DJ promo vinyl. I only seen it once on ebay and it sold for about $90. This one is off the CD compilation called "The Edge Level 4" by hot tracks. So, if you can find the hot tracks vinyl, you would be very lucky. The Australia 12" re-mix is a very good one too. I like them both. Thanks for listening.
@soupnmusic That is perfect! That is what I needed to know. That does sound like an unusual record. I can only dream of that record, LOL. Many thanks for your help and thanks for a fab video (:
Hello, Sorry, I'm in the land "up above". NJ, USA. Those buildings are in Asbury Park Beach, New Jersey. Photos taken in 2002. They are working to rebuild it now, but it was a big place to vacation around 1920's - 1940's before the World's Fare and Disney World. Thanks for looking.
Wow, its kinda cool to see somebody use one of my mixes on YouTube... Thanks, my friend says the night life there is awesome, i look forward to checking it out.
Very nice mix of both version.
