@strive4impact No, I see it, too... at 0:26, the narrator says "a burning flow of fuel and air is used to heat nitrogen gas". This begs the question of what fuel is used.
@EarthRimRoamer21 I understand what is being said now. My understanding is that the advantage of stirling engines has been that the heat is provided by the focused energy of the sun. If they're using gas or wood or something else relatively difficult to renew, then this technology is not being used for it's true potential...
@strive4impact direct the wobble yoke at the bottom is over engineered bs look up other Stirlings and you will see having a cam and a pulley is better
@strive4impact No I wish I've been collecting all the info i can for about a year and a half most companies have no funding So at a very high price you could get a prototype and i mean very very high but never fear theirs plans and patents all over the net some for free some for sale and it wouldn't be hard to use those and machine out your own larger parts the pre-assembled ones on the net are small and over priced
Its good to hear a kiwi accent. These things are really efficient if you are after heat as well as electricity. Usually burns LPG resulting in only CO2 and H2O vapour
nope, co2 is food for plants, it keeps the infrared radiation on the surface heating the planet to this conditions, but too much of it will make the living on terra very uncomfortable, of course the biosfere will thrive without us
CO2 is non toxic trace element in the atmosphere and will not make us uncomfortable even if it increased hundreds fold. Any temperature changes relies on a feed back loop of CO2 leading to higher temperatures leading to greater moisture leading to higher temperatures leading to more moisture. Moisture is the principle greenhouse gas. The only problem is feedback loops are extremely rare in nature ... clouds act as reflectors. And are pure speculative reaching in AGW alarmism.
trollscience is trolling...
What is your heat source? fuel.

@mattocoupias I don't really understand what you're saying here. Can you please clarify? Thank-you!

the wobble yoke is inefficient

@TheMorbiousStone I'm not as familiar with this as I should be. What would be a better option?

@TheMorbiousStone Gotcha. So do you know people who are commercially building the cam and pulley stirling engines?

I was send second time my video-answer about my idea of flat and simple rotary Stirling engine...
I hope - it is interesting...

What if your burning hydrogen, huh ya then what.
ariskk88 2 years ago
it would be awesome but o one allowing hydrogen as use of fuel so you get nothing :P
