i love this show. can't believe this is the end of the best show ever. i'm only thirteen and even though i wasn't born when this show came out, whenever i watch it i feel like i'm there in 1995 or something. everyone thinks i'm like a mixture of angela and jordan just caught up in my thoughts, i don't really notice what others are doing. love this show
I cried while watching this ending, I loved this show so much. Im only fourteen but you get it all. I dislike that Angela and Rayanne stoped talking. IN a way though everything is fixed. To us. My mom tells me Im just like Angela sometimes. Caught up in like my own thoughts. This show was amazing, and its a shame it had to come to an end. I would have chosen Brian, not Jordan. His letter was beautiful and to me it shows that there's more to him than just being "Brain" (as Jordan calls him). He probably has a hidden passionate and creative side that just doesn't come out. Jordan might have charisma, but charm without depth is just tiresome. I don't know if Brian and Angela were right for each other, but I would hope that Brian would eventually find someone who appreciated him, be it Angela or someone else. He deserves it.
That the ending of the show early adds to this kind of never ending mystery that keeps fans alive and passionate about the show. Like Clone High and Undergrads, ending it on a cliff hanger digs into your skin and keeps you asking and wanting more. Unlike cliff hangers from shows that kept running like Dawsons Creek. Honestly, I doubt anyone remembers any cliff hangers from that show. It's sad yes, but honestly fans like you will keep this show alive much longer then most dramas.

Gaahhhhh..... I hated how it ended like this... (Brian.... Nooooooo..... Kiss her!! -_-) And I wish there was an official continuation. Fanfiction (and from what I hear, the book) just won't do it for me... No one can capture the characters as well as the original creators.
I know a new season is impossible. My dream is that the writers will get together for fun or something and write transcripts for what new episodes would have been like... :(

The book in called My so called life goes on..Loved Jordan Catalano( Jared is my fav. actor and musician) who knows maybe if they had a seconds season 30 seconds to mars wouldn't have happened or wouldn't be as successful as it is today, who knows.......
We all could relate like in obsessing over a guy you will or never get with( Angela and Jordan). Tv shows now are fantasy, i guess that is a way you could describe it. Some shows exaggerate too much and situation that never occur. But MSCL was lie reality to me. Every thought that Angela thought about and comments etc. we actually think about. I wish i was a teen in the 90's , like i said people actually had a life back then.. I'm going to try and read the book which is season 2 for the show.
Gosh this series was REAL, not fake like shows now and days about teens, I don't think there is a show about teens that you could actually relate to, you know. This Tv show actually shows what teenagers went and go through now, in the 90's and today, except that now there are cellphones.. The 90's seemed like the best years! People actually had a life that wasn't revolved around cellphones.i liked how Jared's character dressed!
why couldn't they make like one more episode to tie up everything? like rayanne and angela's relationship, and show if angela and jordan will stay together, and even grahm and that halley woman, him coming to his senses and backing off before things went over the line, i hate it!!! I wish we could've got at least that!! but even though it ended making u want more, i still loved every moment of the show....
I never thought Claire Danes was that good until I saw this. She's amazing. I can't believe the show just ended like this. Classic teen angst. Unlike the crap on tv now with actors that can't even act.
Show me another moment in MSCL where Angela was moved as deeply and felt as much as she did when Brian confessed and then maybe I'll believe that she made the right decision by going with Jordan. The problem is you can't, Jordan never touched her heart the way the Brian did with HIS letter. You could see that in her eyes in the last scene..........

I'm really glad Angela's dad didn't cheat with that other woman - my dad had an affair and it ended my parent's marriage as well as screwing up my relationship with him. It still affects me. Parents who cheat are so low.
You can just imagine what would have happened in season 2, angelas dad has an affair, parents marriage hits the rocks, they get through it. Angela and Jordan are together, Jordan gets better lines and little less spacey, Angela falls for Brain instead and the whole twoing and throwing of season 1 would have been a totally waste.

Speaking in a more rational way, it's just like she realized Brian's real feelings towards her, but Jordan actually liked her, so even if I think he should had apologized to her with his own words, for me (though he wasn't like the "ideal guy") well I would have chosen him (Jordan), even with all his flaws for me he's the best,but that's just what I think.

In a way it's better it ended this way. If it had gone on longer, the writers would have beaten every plot line to death in the hopes of making it to syndication. Angela and Brian would have gotten together and then broken up, then Angela would have gotten back with Jordan, then some other guy would be brought in, blah blah blah. The core of the series is right here. And look at it this way : it's like Angela said: "It's like some people are supposed to die young - like it suits them.".

OMG..I just wanted Angela to kiss Brian!! I think she finally realized how he felt about her. I really wish they made a season 2, then we cud have seen how Angela and Brian's relationship develops,whether or not Graham starts having an affair with that horrible restaurant woman, whether Ricky mets a bloke and if ryanne ever finds any friends.
This isn't just the best show ever, but it also has the most amazing actors ever seen in one show! I've never been so touched by acting, I was addicted from beginning to the end, I still am! I'm just gonna watch it all over again, like all 19 episodes ^^

OMG this is honestly the best show ever. It is so relatable and all the characters are so real unlike the teen shows you see today. I loved Brian Krakow, best character ever; I loved his awkwardness and his incessant need to analyze everything, one of my fave episodes was Life of Brian. I also love Angela, she is the best female lead character ever, since watching this show, I started to think like Angela, it was quite funny. I also loved Ricky...and ofcourse Jordan aww is so cute.
I liked that Jordon and Angela ended up together, but I didn't like HOW they ended up together. Like Brian was a jerk the whole way through this series, and then he writes this letter and everything's okay and he's amazing.. It doesn't work like that :L
@AbiCreighton1 no, i disagree. unless jordan gets his act together and keeps angela's interest he will loose her to brian or someone else. she is a clever girl and needs a guy who can express himself. (you can see that in her dreams about him.)
anyway, there will never be another episode so we will just have to fantisize about what could have been...

Based on how this episode played out, she more than definitely would have ended up with Krakow. Reason being, she had completely exhausted her fantasy with Jordan and she began to realize that she needed something real and deep -- which Jordan unfortunately lacked. The story of her mother's experiences in high school with her old boyfriend and her ultimate decision to marry Graham again, in a way, foreshadow what Angela's ultimate decision will end up being.
I never liked the Character of Jordon Catalano, except for two moments. In So called Angels when he lights a candle for Rickie, and in this one where he talks with Patty and says "Its like you think your safe or something. Because you can walk away at anytime, because you don't need her, you don't need anyone, but the thing you didn't realize is your wrong." as much as I liked Brians letter it was very cliche. What Jordon says is from his heart.
also when he says ironic I cheered for him a bit he was growing as a character, all the characters grew so much, I agree with everyone...the second season would have been great.
Just as many others have said, I have to say it again, "Why did this show have to end after one season! It's the best show ever!" I spent the past few days watching all of the episodes which really took me back to the good old days. This show was so great. It's funny how I can still relate to what Angela felt towards Jordan....Thanks MsBittersweetLove for sharing these vids and your love for MSCL. I dont know anyone else who feels the same about this show.

@zperfetto actually no. stephanie meyer took a dumb fantasy mixed with our typical world. having a female friend and two love interests isn't that creative. almost everyone goes through something similar at some point in their life. she wrote about that because she wanted it to seem realistic for her and most girls reading it just so they can put themselves in bella's position w/o having any similar traits. THIS show does it because it's ACTUALLY more relatable and gets us involved.

Gosh, this was an amazing show. Although I was a baby in the 90's watching it now is amazing. Such a real show, that actually shows peoples feelings and the reality of being a teen even now. It wasn't all about money or status but actually a show. Damn Claire Danes for dropping out- I really want to know what would happen betweed Brian, Angela and Jordan. I think that this show (if it had carried on) would have been like friends only for teenagers.

Didn't Angela tell Jordan that Brian's name wasn't "Brain"? Did he just not hear/understand her and think that really was Brian's name? Could the writers have been writing a running joke for Jordan? Like, Jordan was making a play on words, or, whatever.

Angela and Jordan are together, Jordan gets better lines and little less spacey, Angela falls for Brain instead and the whole twoing and throwing of season 1 would have been a totally waste.

Speaking in a more rational way, it's just like she realized Brian's real feelings towards her, but Jordan actually liked her, so even if I think he should had apologized to her with his own words, for me (though he wasn't like the "ideal guy") well I would have chosen him (Jordan), even with all his flaws for me he's the best,but that's just what I think.

In a way it's better it ended this way. If it had gone on longer, the writers would have beaten every plot line to death in the hopes of making it to syndication. Angela and Brian would have gotten together and then broken up, then Angela would have gotten back with Jordan, then some other guy would be brought in, blah blah blah. The core of the series is right here. And look at it this way : it's like Angela said: "It's like some people are supposed to die young - like it suits them.".

OMG this is honestly the best show ever. It is so relatable and all the characters are so real unlike the teen shows you see today. I loved Brian Krakow, best character ever; I loved his awkwardness and his incessant need to analyze everything, one of my fave episodes was Life of Brian. I also love Angela, she is the best female lead character ever, since watching this show, I started to think like Angela, it was quite funny. I also loved Ricky...and ofcourse Jordan aww is so cute.

I liked that Jordon and Angela ended up together, but I didn't like HOW they ended up together. Like Brian was a jerk the whole way through this series, and then he writes this letter and everything's okay and he's amazing.. It doesn't work like that :L
But I think Jordon and Angela are a good match!

Based on how this episode played out, she more than definitely would have ended up with Krakow. Reason being, she had completely exhausted her fantasy with Jordan and she began to realize that she needed something real and deep -- which Jordan unfortunately lacked. The story of her mother's experiences in high school with her old boyfriend and her ultimate decision to marry Graham again, in a way, foreshadow what Angela's ultimate decision will end up being.

I never liked the Character of Jordon Catalano, except for two moments. In So called Angels when he lights a candle for Rickie, and in this one where he talks with Patty and says "Its like you think your safe or something. Because you can walk away at anytime, because you don't need her, you don't need anyone, but the thing you didn't realize is your wrong." as much as I liked Brians letter it was very cliche. What Jordon says is from his heart.

Just as many others have said, I have to say it again, "Why did this show have to end after one season! It's the best show ever!" I spent the past few days watching all of the episodes which really took me back to the good old days. This show was so great. It's funny how I can still relate to what Angela felt towards Jordan....Thanks MsBittersweetLove for sharing these vids and your love for MSCL. I dont know anyone else who feels the same about this show.

@zperfetto actually no. stephanie meyer took a dumb fantasy mixed with our typical world. having a female friend and two love interests isn't that creative. almost everyone goes through something similar at some point in their life. she wrote about that because she wanted it to seem realistic for her and most girls reading it just so they can put themselves in bella's position w/o having any similar traits. THIS show does it because it's ACTUALLY more relatable and gets us involved.

Gosh, this was an amazing show. Although I was a baby in the 90's watching it now is amazing. Such a real show, that actually shows peoples feelings and the reality of being a teen even now. It wasn't all about money or status but actually a show. Damn Claire Danes for dropping out- I really want to know what would happen betweed Brian, Angela and Jordan. I think that this show (if it had carried on) would have been like friends only for teenagers.

Ok, I just discovered this series last sunday - and after 2 episodes became totally addicted. and now.. now, what am I supposed to do?? WHAT TYPE OF ENDING WAS THAT? BRIAN? BRIAN? I officially hate Claire Danes for not wanting to continue it, actually no I don't because then I would actually see whether Jordan and Angela broke up AGAIN. This way I can have hope.. right?
