I disagree. When I started 20+ years ago I sat with books and read. When I was unclear on something, I read it and read it and experimented until it clicked. It just means a little more work on the magician's part.

Spend HALF the amount on books that will grant me FAR more than what this package offers, or blow $400 on basic, mediocre things that I would parrot and not make my own....I feel it's a no-brainer, sorry. This is outrageously priced for what it is.

Sorry...but for about $200 you could have a complete 8 volume set of Tarbell Course books that would teach you most of these things and put you on the road to developing so much more for yourself.

Modern magic DVD marketing is a terrible ripoff in a multitude of ways. Tarbell, Card College, Strong Magic and Harris' Art of Astonishment are indispensable magic literature that should be required reading for anyone in this art. Period.

I'm a little outraged that this box cost you that much money.

you could have spent those 400 dollars on books that would have given you the necessary knowledge on sleight or hand and magic theory in genreal that you could have figured out all this shit and more.

kids need to figure out E charges you 30 bucks for a single trick, that trick or something close enough that anyone with a minimal anount of skill could figure out is mostlikely in a book already

thats right, i forgot... ellusionist is the only place to get magic supplies. i forgot they were the exclusive distributor of magic books. i guess all of the magic books i have picked up at used bookstores and OTHER online retailers arent teaching me the "right" kind of magic. i guess hugard, erdnase, bobo, and harris are no match for brad christian, thats right... it was brad christian who invented ambitious card, we magicians didnt double lift until ellusionist showed us how. gimme a break.
