WOW!!! I'm impressed Tim, but not at all surprised at how well you did! We really liked the show when Anne was the hostess. I always took her "meanness" as just part of her act, and she did it well and it always made us laugh. :-)

There may have been other alliances... maybe not.

The only "alliance" I was privy to was one that "Big Mike" and I made... which was to ONLY vote off people who truly were "The Weakest Link"... and not vote off the strongest players.

That is why I believe he "saved" me. Our reasoning was keep the people who would increase the jackpot - and only FAIR that the BEST players be left standing.

Very surprised... but, grateful. In retrospect, it was Mike's strategy to be fair. We all were allowed to chat before the show

... and Mike's feeling was the two strongest players should be left standing at the end... as both "fair play" and increase the jackpot.

Yes... I think would have done well and won. I certainly knew all the answers in the final "face-off"... but, that's the way the game was played.

BTW - When I voted for "Mike"... who had saved me earlier - I actually meant Michael, the guy next to me... but, I'd forgotten their names were similar and simply said Mike.

It was Michael I was voting off for getting "France" wrong... not "Big" Mike... who was a great guy and team mate.

It was one of the best, most memorable experiences of my life.

The show was exciting, yet quite nerve racking. We had a stellar group of contestants who were very smart... but, I felt confident in my own abilities too. Sadly, if you answer too many questions correctly... you become a target for the other contestants.

Anne Robinson was great fun.. very serious - but, she cracked a smile ever so slightly from time to time. She was always "in character". I liked her... and had fun with her.
