@pattyspagetti you know what? were all being disrespectful, if the band was to look at this video they'd be pretty upset. So what ever argue I apoligize I shouldn't have started anything, but these guys (I'm sure) put a lot of work into all their music and would probably be a little dissapointed. So sorry @makedoanmendbad and I apoligze to you to @Pattyspagetti who ever the heck you are.
Cool video, I used to be an atheist but it sucked, nothing to look forward to , when you die you will cease to be. Now that I changed it gave me hope.
@pattyspagetti Religion has improved science religion and politics, you wouldn't have a free democracy without the model that religious freedom has afforded for you.
@narutoson666 If it had not existed, we would be living in pure harmony. The way the earth has created us. Religion entered our world, and has totally wrecked of what we were. We were an ecological entity. Christianity brought morality into our lives. The fact that some things are wrong, and others are good. Before that, we just lived day by day, not interfering anyone. The idea of anger and opposing to someone hadn't even come to our mind yet. That, I call pure evil.
@narutoson666 *Greek logic. Ancient Greece was the epitome of moving forwards. No other era has produced so much mathematical, scientific and phylosophical and social knowledge.
@batllama That was in search of more spiritual awareness though. They were trying to find, God or Gods or the meaning of life/the actual reason for souls.
@narutoson666 Because god lives in triangles and chemistry deemed "evil" by the catholic church during the medieval period? Not everything revolved around religion. My point is that a democratic system was created out of the people wanting equal power, and that maths and science were more for understanding and academic enlightenment rather than spiritual
@godofpies all i was saying was that Spirituality is what inspires a lot of song lyrics, I guess I came off wrong when i said that so I apoligize, but ya a lot of bands use Christian images, why? because its dark. There are a lot of bands that do it, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Poison the Well, Shia Hulud. That's all I was trying to say so I apoligize.
@xxxPWN3Dxxx dead kennedys black flag anti flag old school bad religion bouncing souls the casualties circle jerks dkm flogging molly flatliners mxpx rancid street dogs are all punk. and im sorry if i dont care to capitalize a few letters in my anger at @BlankTV
@TwOtHpAsTe lmao dude... Those are pretty much all the Punk bands ANYONE who has ever listened to Punk knows... you're obviously not a real punker if you think those bands prove your invalid argument.
one name - Patti Smith, Punk wouldn't be around without her and she has always been spiritual. Aside from that Thrice is one of the most popular hardcore punk bands and they are very popular, in fact are considered very influential and are influenced by Christianity, so before you start being ignorant think about where most lyrics actually come from!
@ItsSkaTV This isn't a religious song at all. What the man is saying is that sometimes he'd rather have the hope and blindness of a religion, than the bleakness and emptiness that atheism has offered him. He wishes he could believe in his tomorrows and not know that one day none of it will matter. The lyrics to this song are amazing btw.
@Kendalloo it has religious themes in the song and video and it is about him sometimes wanting to have faith in something. It technically is still a religious song, just not the orthodox religous song where it's centered on one faith and why it should be worshipped. This is more complex... ...and awesome.
oh newsflash guys, you do not have to be religious to like a certain song. Each song has a different message to each of us. Just enjoy good music with a message.
Rock/metal/punk. Whatever this is supposed to be, neither of those 3 genres should have christian influences in it. It's hard and brutal. Please, christians. Don't infest those with your soft and religious crap.

@CBD670 And for the band, fine music. Musically there's nothing comment-worthy. I just don't like the message.

@jamas12008 Hope? Do you think hope/religion will change anything in the future? Has it improved ANYTHING in the past?
Go back to Atheïsm, and think for yourself.

godofpies 1 month ago
@CBD670 I know where they come from. Researched the core and meaning of spirituality
for years. They come from a certain book, called "The Bible". The book that created evil, and nothing but it.
Secondly, the definition of ignorant states, Lacking knowledge or awareness in general; uneducated or unsophisticated.
Name any of those terms that apply to me, with the info I gave you about myself up ahead.
