after freddy moore got killed in that accident,in 1952, they stopped doing mickey mouse shorts. Fred moore was pretty much mickey mouse annimator

I didn't know Frank Thomas played piano, I knew he could draw and animate but that's impressive what Frank could do.

He was a member of the in-studio Dixieland jazz band known as the Firehouse Five Plus Two. He played piano there. Another of the Nine Old Men, Ward Kimball, was in this band, too. Kimball played trombone.
