in my opinion, the old stuff was dumb rapping. the new stuff is some awesome rock with some nice guitar and great vocals. and even good lyrics, something rap cant deliver the way it is structured.

well, thats just my opinion... and for this song... I think I heard a WAY better version that sounds like rock and because this right now sounds crappy. they have hollywood whore out now... and that song is very very good, so im glad they didn't change much. they rock!!!

i liked linkin park before stuff like what ive done and more of the newer stuff. and idk, i just like a lot of different music. hell, i even enjoy some country music lol. but the thing about all of p-roach's music, is no matter the way it sounds, theres always that passion you can hear in it. which makes it so different from everything in my opinion lol. i like the point of this song though. its %100 percent true.

yeah, papa roach has passion in their music. I think the new linkin park album was very good... music that you could listen to in the car. not stuff you'd wanna work out to, but for being soft, it was a VERY good listen. at least "in peaces" was a very good song.

most of the time you gotta let the lyrics sink in and tell you what they mean if you dont catch it the 1st time. but some songs are totally written bad, but i dont think thats LP's case.

I actually listen to most, bands like escape the fate and my chemical romance.

my chemical romance has some serious writing skills. right now my cousin who is my best friend may not survive cancer. i find my chemical romance's songs are relatable and deep.

its all a matter of finding lyrics that you can take something that you relate to out of, like that. alot of people really like broken home because theyve been there and feel something in it.

MCR does have pretty well written lyrics. Most of their songs are pretty enjoyable. im not sure why alot of people hate them though..

but i guess that goes for any band in this genre that people automatically classify as emo based on looks haha.

-mcr is not emo. yeah, the singers gets emotional with the singing but thats cos he really puts his heart in it and many people just say "oh whiney emo shit" without understanding the deeper meaning.

gerard, the singer, hates the term emo and rejects it for the band himself. i think the new meaning of emo which is cutters, is so untrue. depression is a problem, emo is a fashion statement and should not be confused in my opinion. you may be both if its what u really feel though.
