According to my research, ever since Disney accepted the funding of Pixar's Toy Story, Disney (in contract) got 70* of the profits, and the merchandising rights.

Lassiter may be glad to see his characters in the hands of children, but it was Disney who ultimately got the money.

I disagree, These are authentic toys, but they're not directly from the movie. Woody's mouth should be shut, and Mr Potato head should have two separate eyes and you should be able to take his shoes off. his mouth is also scuplted differently

Ever since i was a small child it has been my dream to become a Disney animator. When i went to see Toy Story for the first time my dream changed I was amazed. My whole life i grew up surrounded by Disney and now as a mother and an aunt i was amazed to see the reaction that my daughter had when she realized her Jessie doll was on Television. It was an amazing thing indeed.

I recieved the Toy Story Collection Buzz Lightyear for xmas and was overjoyed with it, but I was testing the buttons in interactive mode and the head suddenly turned and looked at me!

I dont know if it detected the direction of my voice or if its a deliberate feature, but It was very weird xD

John Lasseter is more than Walt Disney was. And he is considered a part of Pixar rather than Disney even though Pixar is owned by the Disney corporation. They've managed to retain their independence through the years which is why everything sprouted from Pixar is pure gold. Also, did you know that Disney actually wanted to make Toy Story 2 a cheap direct to video sequel before Pixar stepped in and said no?
