yeah i think they were just showing off after a parade or little event that just happend look there in a parking lot and at 0:04 theres a hot air ballon i dont know of any department that would send ladder trucks engines tillers and ems and like one of each type of fire truck to acall of smoke from the building only maybe a highrise a big high rise nice video thow

I do not think you know the area very well or what was going on. This was Stuff a Bus 2010 in Monroeville. All of the Monroeville Fire Companies get together and donate toys every year. Monroeville Fire also handles EMS in the area, so every call that could turn out to be fire, EMS is sent along with the Fire Units.

The ladder and Tiller are called to all possible fire emergencies such as AFA, Smoke in the building, etc.

@TheMaster592 There's a Radio Station in Pittsburgh before Christmas, they do a Fund Raise Drive called "Stuff-A-Bus" where they try to fill a TON of Buses with child toys. Every year Monroeville Fire Department shows up and does their part. But fortunate enough this year, they got a possbile Structure Fire Run.

@robertgift Powercall is one of the most effective sirens out there, along with the Rumbler. Who gives two craps if you think the Rumbler is "Laughable", it's a very effective Siren. Plus, your words mean nothing to anyone. Just because you say that doesn't mean the FD is going to go out of their way to change the sirens and speakers.

@301whitehall POSwercall, similar to a Hi-Lo, is less effective because it sweeps to its high and low frequency too fast. (Also it lingers on the high frequency, rather than LOW. LOW frequencies travel farther in air and penetrate vehicles better than high. If someone is deaf athat high frequency, they will not hear it.

Would be.tter if its frequency profile were inverted from what it is.

Nothing is better than Wail. Wail does not match any frequencies in music, etc.
