I live in Co, about an hour or so from the Stanley Hotel, and happen to know an ex-employee who managed the facilities maintenance. In 12 years as a employee there, he never once saw or heard anything that led him to believe the stories about it being haunted were true. He was, however, instructed to install a dimmer switch on the dining hall lights so that the lights could be caused to flicker from a remote location during the tours. Its all marketing people... to me the side of the Amityville house even looks like a skull face (the top two windows = eyes, the lower two windows = nasal opening, bottom row = teeth), could someone remind me of the story behind the brown lady of raynham? I remember about when the picture was taken, I am referring to what her story is and reason behind supposed haunting. I don't believe in ghosts. I just like good ghost stories.

2.02 - thats not fake . the pic is from Nagarkot, a beautiful hillstation of Nepal.

and the photo was taken during a college picnic. the guy was dead the very next day when the photo was developed.

i have seen many of these effects replicated before.i even have a video on it.

with many, i cannot find any evidential backstory either, which leads me to doubts as if they really were real, there would be testimonials and evidence to prove the stories, but nothing..

Regardless, faked and hear-say pictures do nothing to help anyones cause in the long run

Thanks for sharing! One note though, the Stanley Hotel was not the set of the movie, it was Stephen King's inspiration for the book. I stayed there once, heard kids running in the halls late at night, complained to the front desk & was told there were no kids staying at the hotel! Ghost Hunters (sci-fi channel) has some good experiences on tape from there too.
