I attended a Tea Party protest in downtown Portland, OR along with over 7500 other protesters. Not a single cop showed up during the whole 5 hours of the protest. At the end of the protest, we picked up any trash and put it in the bins, and then we went home.

The difference between our protest and the RNC protest, wasn't the police........it was the protesters.

Actually most of us are working-class people. We're not talking about chaos, we're talking about abolishing hierarchy. Crimes in our society currently are mostly based on desparation and/or greed/power, which is what our social structure is based upon at the moment.
