I hope you understand what RIAA is all about.

RIAA includes shipments in figures. if 30 Million albums are shipped then RIAA awards it certifications.

That does not mean 30 Million was bought

eg. In 1995..2.5 million of MJs double album HISTORY were shipped to stores, RIAA certified it as 5xplatinum because its a double album.

BUT only 1 Million copies was sold, NOT 5 MILLION.

RIAA is wrong, they only know that 2.5 million was shipped and thats all they care about

Again im sorry you disagree with my information but it came from very reliable sources.

RIAA only updates their info if PAID by the artist label.

Celine Dion figures remained unchecked by RIAA.

Some of Celines albums remained unrevised in over 10 years.

RIAA counts shipments and not actual sales.

eg. If Singer X shipped 2 Million albums to stores, then RIAA says that its 2 Million sold.

but in reality only 1000 albums were bought.

RiAA is also said to be bias towards non-american singers.

Who is your source? Please don't preach to me about record sales; I've worked and researched them for half a decade now, and have an internet-wide reputable sales database for over 150 acts, most famously for the Queen herself, Celine Dion.

I know full what RIAA entails and what it means; Celine is underestimated by AT LEAST 10m albums according to RIAA - she's shifted 62.5m albums in the USA according to my estimations. Soundscan track the sales, RIAA track the shipments, I know that ....

When Wiki says the "album is the best selling in 2000 or 1999" they most likely mean in the US, not worldwide.

Sony last estimate for Celines Xmas album was 15 million worldwide. which makes her the top in that list.

What it took Nana to accomplish in 50 years , Celine took 15. Celine sales are "certified" and can Be proven. Alot of older acts claim to have sold hundreds of millions but cant really be proven and most figures are false as their record company inflate the numbers to make the singer appear superior.

eg. I love elvis but his record company claimed he sold over 1 billion records , which i just dont believe.
