You spend a lots of time design Daga , but not a bit to Study about Persia and the Beautiful nature of it . Persia has not such a desert in the movie and also 2/3 of the Persian Mountain covered by Tree. you didn't even use a Persian name . is not the Prince of Persia or He didn't live in Persia ? !! and for you to know , Alamoot is part of Persia ! they must attack the India !

Sands of time is my fave Platformer for PS2 so wasn't really sold on the idea of a decent flick that could compare but must say the trailer won me over, I initially couldn't imagine Gyllenhaal playing the Prince but they done him up perfectly, he looks good for the role, and they got the environment perfect too, this was a truly good job altho its got elements of diff games ..

Yeah, look up Persian history before saying anything. And for those who say Jake is too pale to be persian..

I'm 100% Persian and my skin color is the same as his. If not lighter.

Just because those you've seen happen to be a little darker doesn't mean all Persians are like that. Yes a lot are but not all.

And yeah it's possible to be Persian and have blue eyes. Just like most of my moms side of the family.

@OranoosDfa it broke up man,but you see still iran was the core,because im persian im telling you this,i was a history student for a long time,persia was never destroyed they just politicaly changed it's name in the previouse revolution and thats sad about it!if you go to iran,the closer you are to middle cities the closer you are to persia :P ,but as you say yeah it broke up to pieces like iraq,kazakhstan and etc, but Persia remained, Iran means "Place of Aryians(Persians) )

it's a great movie, just got back from seeing it. before you watch it, know that it is not based entirely on the game. the characters are not the same(except for the prince of course) but it has all the action and acrobatic stunts of the games. great fight scenes. to me, it was the perfect blend of action, comedy, and romance.

great job disney, you proved that you can do much more than kids movies(although for the most part the movie is kid friendly, it's not a guts and gore movie haha)

I beat all 3 of the true Prince of Persia games. They were plenty of fun but I have my doubts about the movie. I'll see it, but it may take the game and smash it and humiliate it. Anyone who played the original series would be questioning the movie. But hey, maybe Disney will pull through.

I beaten the 3 games years ago, and I don't seem to question this movie. The story seems fine, the acting is pretty good. The action & acrobatics are epic and the special effects are fantastic. It reminds me of Pirates of the Carribean with Lord of the Rings. I don't want this to be like the game. Just a great movie to enjoy, but we'll just see in May 28 (So far the test audiences saw this movie and loved it more than Pirates 1).

They've done well not showing him in trailers but the effect of the dagger across his arm says the movie has the dark prince.

It's strange that Ubisoft is making a game which will be released at the movie goes out and the game don't follow the sequence of the 1st part of the game. The Sands Of Time is based on the 1st game of the trilogy - a really impressive game!
