MSU is a benefactor of the newly instilled common application. More students are applying to UofM and less get in due to recent overcrowding. Second choice is MSU.

I love how MSU fans like to always say they have a better Basketball team than Michigan even though they have won the same amount of national championships as Michigan has in the last 25 years. MSU was nobody during the 80's and 90's we won the championship in 1989 and you won in 2000 so the championships numbers are the same for the last 30 years! MSU has, and always will be more important, more powerful, and more dominating in college basketball than UofM will ever hope to imagine. Biggest scandal in college basketball history, a disgrace. And if you're using that horrible logic about championships, the same argument can be made about our two football programs.

Baker and Caper are both All American runningbacks and Barrent is an All American left tackle. Chris Norman had offers from all over the country. Keith Nichol and Kirk Cousins are better than any QB on UW and michigan's roster. MSU brings back 17 starters from last year. Every new started will have loads of playing time other than the starting RB. Greg Jones is a man amongst boys he dominates day in and day out. Jerel Worthy will be freshman All American this year. You have to be insane if you think UW or michigan will be in the rose bowl before MSU. MSU had a top 15 recruiting class last year and will have a top 15 class again this year to go along with one if not the best coach in the big ten. Fact coach D has taken a 3 star and a 2 star player and turned them into freshman all American. Foreman is the only 2 star I can ever think of to be givin that honor. Continued..

MSU's number of championships equals UW's number of final fours. UW and Purdue brag on conference success becuase that is all they have.
