Michelle, congrats on making it to the finals and going to LA. A bit of a Sad Panda my friend Nixx didn't make it, but she's been a good sport about it. You did put a little more emotion into this song than Marc. I got almost bored with Marc singing, it wasn't like his "Somebody to Love". Hey don't get me wrong Marc is good. I had to put that in otherwise I'd get like PM's from Marc fans.

@michelle31891 Your Welcome! yeah Nikki been singing for several years from R&B to Rock songs always competing in contests and performing on stage. Yes Nikki's voice is pretty amazing and powerful. I know another finalist, Jennifer Espinoza, she's amazing singing Janis Joplin songs. Anyway, good luck Michelle, practice a lot and always put emotion behind the song when you sing it.

My best advice to you (if you don't have a mic or good sound equipment) is to go to a music store near you and demo their equipment right there in the store, if they would let you. I'm sure they would. Ask a guy.

@maplesugar98 It was a really beautiful day and the lighting was great so my roommate (who filmed this for me) and I felt that outside was best. You're right though, there was a bit of wind. I would've used a mic, but I'm a broke college student with no money to buy good equipment haha

@TheAcerB You have some good points. It does feel a little forced in places. My problem was that because she was doing this outside, there were a fair number of audio distractions going on and the sound quality was poor. I think she has a beautiful voice and can probably handle rock no probs, but would be awesome in country - she actually "looks" Jazzy to me, and with those sultry low tones could do some killer jazz standards (IMO)

@shadyrosy I voted for Michelle because she's the most well-rounded of the girls in my eyes. Sings well, plays a bunch of instruments, could pull off backup vocals easily on songs as well as lead on a few depending on what the band ends up doing, and, yes, is funny/pretty/likable/all of the above, whatever. It's all part of being marketable. This video isn't as awkward as some of the others. Not sure why some comments are acting like having the full package is a bad thing all of a sudden, haha

@macwillaert612 Michelle is really good, and she is on my list of possibles. (I have eliminated quite a few already - LOL - like everyone cares) I haven't made up my mind on the vote. I want to listen to each one multiple times so that when I make that vote, it's fair.

I agree with you that Michelle has a lot going for her. And, from a promoter stand-point she is marketable with a capital M. I can't tell you how many musicians refuse to see that marketability is important.

And, from a voice, singing, and overall sound quality - I agree, he whips the competition, but something keeps niggling me - his performance is somewhat lacking in passion. Someone mentioned early in the game that she had seen him live and he is kind of lacking in that personality projection thing, and after re-watching him - I think I have to agree.
