  • Very nice bouncing! I'm planning a new video for this summer and will definitely have to try to incorporate some of these tricks! Particularly like the 645 bounce, have not seen that pattern bounced before. Keep up the great work!

  • Great stuff. Wish i had time to do more bouncing!

  • you should work man , not bounce ...hahaha.Fine , your boss payed for that ...

some patterns i`ve never seen before , i do some classic bounce patterns from 3 to 5 balls , but this here is very good ...

  • madness! I never knew about this stuff! then again, I never really bothered going out of my way to look for it..

    thanks for the info.

  • Nice intro! You are getting so crazy good at bouncing. 744 was sweet, and 6x4 looks so awesome bounced!

and, as usual, the music is great!

  • Thanks, Steve.

  • ([54],1x)* ??

  • Yeah, sorry. It's actually [54]1x*. If you want to get technical, it's [5B4B]1xB*

    Thanks for the correction.

  • I've never seen a "1x" before.. that's why I'm confused.. only 1 in async patterns and 2x in sync patterns.. but 1x ?

I'm not trying to imply you've made a mistake, I've just never seen that before in siteswap. Is 1x something that is exclusive to bounce juggling or something?

  • Nope. You can put an x next to any number in siteswap(except for 0, I would imagine) and, if it was supposed to cross, it doesn't now. So, a 6x is a throw at 6 height that crosses instead of staying in the same hand. Just like a 5x would stay in the same hand instead of crossing. I've never actually seen any odd numbers with an x either. Maybe I'll hit a generator and try and find one.

  • wow! that's crazy! I never knew that.. but sure enough, it works in the animator and that's all the proof I need :)

I guess I still have a lot to learn about siteswap. Thanks for the help!

  • Progressing fast. Not tried (or seen) some of the longer sync siteswaps before. really should get on and film another video soon!

  • That would be sweet! I'm still going through Bounce O'Clock and your other videos and learning the tricks. YouTube needs more quality bounce juggling videos!

  • Thanks for the kind words, everybody. I really appreciate it.

  • That. was. awesome. All of the synch 5b patterns are mind bending... don't think I've seen some of those before!

  • i tried bounce juggling for about a day and gave up because it was so hard! very impressive that you can do all of this!

  • Very impressive stuff Rico. You are progressing very fast. You are going to become something great in the future. :)

  • Awesome video! I'm a siteswap nut, I really should do more bounce. The relationships and transitions between the async and sync stuff is weird.

Also, possible typos - Should that aBB22[53][53]0 just be a22[53][53]0? Same on 9BB5551. Maybe I'm missing something.

  • No, you're half right. The actual siteswaps are a22[53][53]0 and 95551 but, by putting the upper case B in front of a number in a siteswap generator, you signify that it bounces. Putting two of them in signifies that it bounces twice. I didn't put the rest of the Bs in there just because, with a bounce video, it gets redundant.

  • I really should have guessed that.
