MAC Studio Sculpt Review and Tutorial

i went into the mac shop and the girl said studio sculpt is for dry skin hence why u broke out; you have oily skin, try macs studio finish instead :)

some liquid foundations are just not made for oily skin, so one shouldnt blame the product, its different for everyone. Most times, the culprit is a dirty foundation brush

i dont think thers actually a product thats 'completely' safe for EVERYONE lol its all trial and error with mac!

nice video (:, but the foundations and concealers react different on peoples skins, i been usein the foundation and i have NEVER broken out from it , i think everyone one should test it out and if it works out good then keep it and if it doesent then return it

I feel the same about foundation. And it damages my skin that is why I don´t like it on a daily basis.

You are the first person who does make up tutorials to start the video by showing us what you are going to use. I found it very useful especially because you showed the brushes. I am not familarised with them yet so it is a great help to shown them.

the studio sculpt foundation i loved it however it caused my to breakout.

i love the concealer though. i have dark circles under my eyes and it works great to cover it up.

BB brush is much smaller and covers more, so for smaller areas, yes it is better.

The last time I went to Mac they recommended I go to the local CVS and buy my brushes there because they're cheaper, but good. I know that you can set up an appointment with a Mac person and they can show you how to use the brushes.

I love the concealer! It takes care of those "dark situations" just fine! Just picked up the Painterly Pot too! It has become my new fave lid color! And I love the Lip Glass!

Girl! Let me tell you how lucky you are that this concealer works for you. I love the consistency and creaminess of this however the nc45 is too orangey on my skin (even though I use the nc 45 foundation...which is slightly peachy on me but w/e thats the best I can do) and nc 42 is too light :( So yea...really don't know what to do! Perhaps, I will need to try bobbi brown or make up forever. What do you suggest?

Hey have you tried any of the NW? I normally wear NC which I got anyways and for some reason it gave me such obvious light yellow tone even after blended in. So I got NW and it works much better.

I tried NW colours...but they are either too dark on my skin or looks too pinky-white. So not they don't work with my skin type at all :( I really wish MAc had a nc44 or nc43 colour for concealer. But I will be definitely trying Bobbi Brown, thanks!!

Try bobbi brown #6. That might work.  I use Mac's nc 45 also.

Great Video !!! I have the same issue with my skin. I use witch hazel as a toner and it helped remove my dark spots. Or another thing you can try is aloe vera. Buy a plant and just break a small piece and rub over the dark areas and you are good to go Mamma!

hey erin, how much does the concealer go for? i usually use studio fix, nw45, but that went on sooo smooth on your skin, i need to try it. i love your tutorials and recommend them all the time to my friends, keep up the good work girl

It's 16.50 in the US. You can use it to cover blemishes, then use your studio fix on top. That's what I was going to do but forgot to!

Hi Erin, I must be doing something wrong in the application. (my concealer is not completely covering my blemishes) I bought the MAC NC 30 concealer recently, I am light-skinned with blemishes and scars from busting zits. I am new to using brushes. I always used Q-Tips. I use a Bare Minerals concealer brush to apply the concealer. Maybe I should get a different brush. Thoughts?
