@kenchington123 I know you asked this apparently over a month ago, but since no one answered, I thought I would. No she didn't simplify it. This was the 2009 part of the Monster Ball. She reinvented the show for 2010, which is what you saw. Even if she didn't reinvent it, she has said she wants the same amazing show for everyone, meaning she'd spend her own money on the show if she had to, also meaning she wouldn't simplify it for anyone.
