As a NASA fan and engineering student, Jackie Chan should be on the shuttle before lift-off to survive, and they would begin removing the rocket segments once they reach the highest parts of atmosphere, where there is lesser oxygen concentrations. Furthermore, that is a lot of air resistance and G's that the rocket has at those speeds, so even if Jackie is moving at the same speed as the rocket, it would be difficult to lift himself up. And the propulsion process is continuous. GO JACKIE!

How many times would they have died in this episode? This really is the first episode that I find totally unbelievable. I'm not saying that there are really talismans or anything, but magic is an element that, when introduced to a story, can have any effect the creators want. In this episode, we see hard science completely disregarded.
