Anybody know of any progress the progressives have actually made? I love their manipulation of language. My favorite? That Pro-Choice issue. Its as if its a choice between Chardonay & Cabarnet, and not a matter of sucking the brains of a fetus. If it weren't for the extreme narcissism of these feminists, there would probably be many more feminists spilling their guts in AA meetings ... about those blackout slutfests . Thanks Marcy, I think that if our government ( U.S. ) wants the workers to compete globally, health care is the least of our concerns. If I am told to compete with the lowest wages in the plantant, then my labor is worth zero. That is the same as being told that I'm worth Zero. If that's what my government thinks of me, I need a different government!

Now I understand and agree with everyone that wants healthcare for all legal americans. I just dont know why we cant 1) allow bying of insurance from another state (that would help me alot). 2) tort reform (bad for trial laywers). 3) after the first 2 are done, we can add the uninsured to the medicare rolls. The only people that are in the pockets of trial laywers and insurance companies are the senators...so lets all do that!

After healthcare, the next projects are housing, clothing, automobiles, ipads, and other essential items. You thinks its about healthcare? Individual mandates without a medicare type public option for anyone that wants in, will open a vein on the working people of America. Dr. Dean's belief that the bill must be stripped of all funding except for the primary reforms, if the Public Option is killed, is correct. Their dangling the PO in suspense as the last line item until Joint Committee, when they can ram through this madness and say "we tried, we really tried." SHUT IT DOWN.
