Great musical score as usual, you live a tough life, don't understand why this has to be your last video of the season, surely you can make some more on what you're up to, what you need donations or something?
I was back watching this episode again, reading comments and such and realized my comment must not of gone through like I thought it had! So here goes, I really think your sense of humor came through brilliantly on this episode, As well you kept it informative and on point. (it is fun for me to see what you are doing up there, as I have no real knowledge of that LIFE!)
Scoring was beautifully done added well to the atmosphere.
I could go on and on and on. Honestly there is not enough boxes here for you, I wouldn't say that about many people, on youtube or off, PERIOD!
Amazing work from you is the norm brother, what is really blowing me away with this episode is your story telling! If I had to pick my favorite part of this whole episode it would be that "your story" I feel like your soul searching since you been there must be unclouded like would be on the road!
I mean even with a lot of time on the road to think I believe it is hard to really LET GO of daily thought. Up there however you seem to have found something.
Nice video, not your best work though. LOAT #8 and 9, they had something extra about them. I'm sorry, I can't put my finger on it, but there was something that gave them the magic touch.
The new content of this one was nice to watch though.
I realy am amazed by your filming and edit skill's If some one don't pick you up and put you in film making I.E. Hollywood. There stupid. and missing out on the next big reality show. Great job and 5 stars fav. too. Thanks Dave. Keep warm.LOL
I totally agree with you on your comment 18wof. shame I didn't catch Dave's the life of a trucker until think it was part 5 or something. but did make a great viewing time all in one go.
You are fortunate that no-one ever gives you a problem w/ filming on location. Most copanies would not allow it.
Please, don't let this be your last video for a while....I don't care if you have to take snippets and bits, and put them all together and make new vids out of them...I know that you are capable of doing that....We are all addicted to you now.
It's gotten to the point, that I click five stars before I even watch the video! I am that sure of your artistry and the quality of your work. I can't help but marvel at your camera shots and angles....and I'm asking myself, "How did he DO that"?!
Another great video Dave, really putting your camera to work with those night shots, you can definately tell that is a really good quality camera used in that video.
I can see there being a protest on how much you raise the bounty by!!! your video's really come out great.
what type of job is it you got there? as the black gold series made out that you were just driving the vac truck, but in this one it looks like it is a wide range, like working on the rig as well.
Ahhh I knew you would make another episode....you said you were giving up on this series. Glad you decided not to Dave. Seeing you doing that job brings back memories of when I was a vac hauler. Working in the chemical plants, doing shut downs, clean ups etc. Feast or Famune business for sure. So whats your plans while they are shut down in spring? Back to the open road for a bit maybe? Or some realaxing time off at home.....cant wait for the next episode!
Great Video Dave. I think I seen one of those trucks while watching Ice Road Truckers the 2nd season. I think during that show they were using them for something like waste or something. But great Video. Take care and stay safe up there.
Nice work David and a good explanation...if more people watched your stuff and tried to understand that we are just people trying to make a living, instead of listening to the unifnormed media and enviros that have an axe to gind this would be a much better world.
I think it is because the media only likes reporting bad things, that then gives the miss conception of every vac hauler and stuff being for the worse, rather than moving fluid and such like from one location to another.
and concerns with the enviros being that there could be chemicals in the vac trucks that are being spread.
it is just the 1/100 or something giving the bad name to the other 99
