iPhones do have the same lock, when you double click the home button the multi-tasking bar pops up, you swipe it right and the iPod menu pops up and its the little like spinning thing

I've always wondered, but never asked... That GPS thing built in, will it work even if I don't buy the monthly fee for internet? Lets say I buy the 3g model and NEVER buy/use the 3g internet.... will that blue pin still pop up on maps?

@JapaneseErasersRule You will have the option to connect to WiFi Spots YES. But unless you go to a public open WifFi area, most connections are password protected now. If you will be out and about a lot...and know there are no open WiFi spots around you; I suggest you get the 3G model.

@VvCompHelpvV Thanks but, guess what I got an iPad like a month ago I begged my grandpa and he said " Well Let's go take a look" and so we went to the iPad store (Apple Store) and this guy was really helpful he told us what it did and what everything else did and I said to my grandpa "Well you don't have to spend all that money for the 3G" and he said " Well if I get you the iPad without the 3G what's the point" SO HE GOT ME THE 16GB and the 3G. And it is awesome you inspired me to buy it.Thanks

@Getshane3 Yes you can. Thats not what apple beleives to be multi tasking though. software 4.0 will bring in multi-app support so you can use more 2 or more apps simultaneously.
