Otacon starts to miss his best friend, snake, and builds a cloning machine from the data that he creates. Then, after cloning him successfully getting the right chromosomes, meryl hosts the baby and she and johnny raise the kid as their son and then we have MGS5. I highly doubt it, if they were going to bring back snake they would have to go to an earlier time period.
What I was hoping for was a Big Boss game on the PS3/Xbox instead of just on the PSP. When I saw the teaser I was hoping that the picture that turned out to be Raiden was actually Grey Fox (the two look pretty similar) and the game would be set in the past with Big Boss, no such luck

Oh I remember the reveal of MGS5 I was on my toes waiting for the countdown to end, then DISSAPOINTMENT.
First of all the game was revealed IN THE MICROSOFT PRESS CONFERENCE and then it is revealed that the game will be about that maschistic emo Raiden and not snake (or Big Boss which is what I was hoping for), Im sure Kojima knows what he is doing and MGS Rising will turn out to be a good game but still I cant help but be a little dissapointed at the direction of the new game.
You know that Peace Walker is coming out next year right? It's all about Big Boss, it's directed by Kojima, and if you don't have a PSP then I feel for ya cause I've played the demo and it's amazing.

If the 'ninja raiden' image really is raiden, then logically, 5 has to be set between 2 and 4. At the end of 2, raiden was still normal, and at the end of 4, he had lost his cyborg look and became more normal, where i presume he would have gone to live his life with rose and his kid.
Anyone else notice how in MGS4, snake never really went "hey wait, what the hell happened to you raiden?" almost as if he had been in contact with him since the end of MGS2, and thus KNEW raiden had changed.

For all you know there is..the fan base for MGS is so large the creators would probaly find a way to bring him back some how some way no matter what happend in MGS4( which i played ) for the satisfactory from the fans...theres almost always a way to bring back a legend dude.. almost always

i think its going to be more of raidens past before mgs4 took place.. so its a prequel of mgs4.. i dont think raiden fought any metal gears when he was with solidus.. and he wasnt wearing any armour suit..

Yeah rising is on 360 cuz its not by kojima..when kojima gets a break and more time..im sure he will release a SOLID snake game for ps3..but the only problem is im guessing it will take 2-5 years?

Well, big boss said it himself, that Solidus was the best clone made.
If you see solidus in mgs2 and compare him with big boss mgs4, you see almost no difference.
But I agree, they look really alike solid snake and big boss from mgs 3.

its actually a Big Boss photo... and belongs to the new game Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker for the PSP which it`s going to be a secuel of MGS3, its about the creation of Outer Heaven and Peace Walker its directed and created by Kojima not like that Raising Thing

Here's what i think happens:
Otacon starts to miss his best friend, snake, and builds a cloning machine from the data that he creates. Then, after cloning him successfully getting the right chromosomes, meryl hosts the baby and she and johnny raise the kid as their son and then we have MGS5. I know i totally pulled that out of my ass, but who knows?

I highly doubt it, if they were going to bring back snake they would have to go to an earlier time period.
What I was hoping for was a Big Boss game on the PS3/Xbox instead of just on the PSP. When I saw the teaser I was hoping that the picture that turned out to be Raiden was actually Grey Fox (the two look pretty similar) and the game would be set in the past with Big Boss, no such luck

Oh I remember the reveal of MGS5 I was on my toes waiting for the countdown to end, then DISSAPOINTMENT.
First of all the game was revealed IN THE MICROSOFT PRESS CONFERENCE and then it is revealed that the game will be about that maschistic emo Raiden and not snake (or Big Boss which is what I was hoping for), Im sure Kojima knows what he is doing and MGS Rising will turn out to be a good game but still I cant help but be a little dissapointed at the direction of the new game.

You know that Peace Walker is coming out next year right? It's all about Big Boss, it's directed by Kojima, and if you don't have a PSP then I feel for ya cause I've played the demo and it's amazing.

i think it will explain the gap between mgs2 and mgs4 , and that big boss thingy might have something to do with mgs peace walker :o, the psp game. I highly doubt that big boss will have much to do with mgsr :p but these are just my thoughts :p

not only that, but it will surely be about his past. he was raised by solidus, to be a child soldier. so it will probably reflect on that and possibly on frank jeager, as he went through the same thing under big boss and gene. but this video is pretty shitty

not the bad guy we all thought, zero was the bad guy making the patriot system with the philosiphers funds.
and making proxies to take over the world, and the patriots mutation of economic funding through war, and the patriots hiring rat pt 01(patr10t) and drebin 893 to help snake.
but at the end, everything started at zero. and ended with zero. boss' whole task with haven. so ocelot , eva and boss all finished the mission, they started with the secret pact between russia, china and the u.s.

If the 'ninja raiden' image really is raiden, then logically, 5 has to be set between 2 and 4. At the end of 2, raiden was still normal, and at the end of 4, he had lost his cyborg look and became more normal, where i presume he would have gone to live his life with rose and his kid.
Anyone else notice how in MGS4, snake never really went "hey wait, what the hell happened to you raiden?" almost as if he had been in contact with him since the end of MGS2, and thus KNEW raiden had changed.

I think that the image is looking like Gray Fox and not Raiden. Anyways, I can't know, even if the trailer says '' Raiden is back'', Raiden can be anything. Just how I am thinking.

Listen The next game is going to be peace walker, next rising, if people like this "lighting bolt action" stuff they may do another similar game (I hope a Grey Fox game), and finally, and probably the greatest ending for all the saga: MGS5, this Im pretty sure will be set in the period between mid 70s (PW) and 1995 (mg1), thus we will play with Big Boss in the greatest moments of his career, Outer Heaven, FOXHOUND, the war against the other patriots, and!, we may even play with young snake...
