Its "Crop" their ears, "Dock" their tails. "Pit Bull" or "PittBull" isn't a breed. Its a term used to describe a certain group of dog breeds. When you say "PitBull" or "Pit Bull" your referring to Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, American Bulldogs, American Pit Bull Terriers, etc, etc. I'm sure your talking about the American Pit Bull Terrier, though. All dogs are pack-animals. You have to be the pack-leader without ever hitting or abusing your animal. Other than that, I agree.

to ranlyn07, I am a vet tech and I didn't think ear cropping was that bad, until I started assisting in the surgeries. If you ever saw how what they have to do, and how bloody it is, and they just CRY in pain when they wake up for HOURS. It is a messy healing time as well, trying to resplint raw ears. You are mistaken if you think it doesn't bother them! It may look nice, but I couldn't handle putting my 2 boxers through it for just a look.

i have two boxers and i had both their ears cropped. it is not cruel. it is a cosmetic surgery yes but my two were not phased after surgery they did very well and didnt act like it bothered them. cropped ears are my personal preference but they are gorgeous dogs either way: natural or cropped. i doubt i get my next one cropped. its easier to clean their ears when they're cropped too. im not trying to diss anyone, im just throwing in my opinion with everyone else.
