well tehcnically, you shouldn't be using self tanner/moisturizers on your hands, seeing as you're supposed to wash your hands ASAP to make sure you fingers and palms dont turn orange. but my advice would be, to start out with the lighter shades, and then work your way up. This will not only allow you to gradually work up a 'tan' but allow your skin to get used to the toning chemicals and therefore it probably wont turn orange. I use dove energy glow, and as a pale person, i find its great!!
I have done 8-100 bucks exfoliated etc. Self tanners are a waste of time look fake and DYE your skin! I tanned in a bed for a few months and stopped. It dried out my skin and I feared for my health. Gave up also because I missed my real skin tone. By the way scars etc dont tan and that aint attractive.
wow, i didnt know so many ppl hated it, I use this stuff becuase it looks natural on me becuase i get out alot, YOU have to let it dry 7 minutes before washing your hands or whatever [its clearly labeled] but whatevs
I agree with sunshinelove33. I like the Jergen's and I had a little sample size of the Dove Energy Glow that I didn't like as much. I think it also smells kind of weird.
I've tried Jergens and it does work well... these things always make me a little orange, but Jergens was really subtle so it just gave a light bronze glow
i'm sorry that happened to you. i used it too and i turned a little orange but the thing is i'm medium so it looked like a glow.......did u use the soap too?
im already have a tan cuz im part filipino, i use the dove energy glow shimmer lotion so it brighten my skin and turned it into a beautiful brazilian golden tan, but i used the bodywash too it rocks!
i think its ur skin tone

I think this self tanner is best for people who already have a slight tan, and want to make it darker. It works better that way.

the reason why your hands is orange is because you really did get the wrong shade for you skin tone...

You're an idiot. Use "Fair to Medium" and you'll see the difference.
