noah is on point wit one or two things, luke being intense, which he is but i would add to that and say that he's more passionate then intense, he wears his heart on his sleeve, ruled by his heart, have to say from the get go they work because they balance each other out, they complete each other. where luke can be irrational noah is rational and cool headed. where noah finds it hard to convey his feelings luke is open with how he feels.

I love Noah's not-so-concious relevation here... He would have gotten closer sooner to Luke, if Luke didn't just "walk away" all the time. Luke puts up too many walls, and did not get a chance to connect to Noah (on a deep friendship level as he did with Maddie). Luke doesn't realize or have any inkling that Noah had any feelings for him, until the "tug of war revelation", but, they would have been more close (maybe siphoning some Maddie time and saving her feelings), if he wasn't so guarded.
