  • You have to have that firewoman.I want to be too firewoman, but it is not Czech rebublice :-((

  • YOU DIDNT SAVE MY LEG YOU CUNTS !!!

  • Chick on duty, means no porn that day. Chick days are long days.

  • Hiring quotas are bull shit. Hiring should be based on merit alone. Not gender or race.

  • @Pimpster82 no women would ever get into physically demanding professions

  • @Pimpster82 Yeah, that is because the hiring quotas went to those who "suffered" from crakkka male privilege. Fuck outta here, crakkka bytch!

  • Some body has a big head. For on when you are called out to a wildland fire. You are not going to be there for 3 months as you said. It used to be limited to 3 weeks now it is down to 2 weeks on.. And then you say no vol. in your county. Then turn around and say you have 1 vol station. And now saying you have 2 stations on the other side of your county. Sounds like some B.S. from you. As for OFDUnit23 right on brother

  • Which is a general statement received as a broad definition of this branch of the professional fire service.

  • OFD I would watch what your saying with comments. I have read all your comments and they are a little personal. WHat im trying to say is try keeping more of your opinion to...well..yourself.

  • Which opinion is that? That both Paid and Volunteer firefighters are only separated by a paycheck?

  • Brother, I wish youd remain consistent. Anyways, so are you saying that your comment, =Money says you're a pussy volly= was said in haste, and really doesnt reflect you view of professional volunteers?

  • Hope all is well w/ U! Aside from that, ideologies transcends time with the exception of change. My hope is that U lack N motivation on this issue not from personal problems, but ur eyes have opened 2 this erroneous separation of Paid/Volunteer. Maybe my paid bros simply lack N stamina, 4 months is a short time? Just kidding! Seriously, by responding 2 me engages U N this topic. After 1 week, U cant claim lack of commitment/motivation as a defense, U have simply failed 2 support ur side.

  • Sounds like a cop-out to me! Brother, it is ok to be wrong, and freely admit that I have been wrong on many occasions in my life. You have enough interest in the subject to have participated in a weeklong recent conversation. Plus, 500 character max (including spaces) is FAR from long! Based on our conversation here, your stance on this issue has NO foundation, and honestly you cannot defend it for shit! Regardless, youre still my fire-bro, so stay safe out there. Everyone comes home!

  • Also, I would like for you to always remember, that you had failed in this argument against a 100% Volunteer Firefighter. I say this not to gloat, instead, that you may genuinely reevaluate your obtuse stance towards your Volunteer brethren. Again, stay safe out there!

  • HD, you seem to ignore most of the content on my posts and focus on less relevant portions. As for a training officer, you may lack in the skills/experience/certification/etc to OFFICIALLY assist in training your local volunteer brothers, but if they are as inferior as you claim, then surely the Chief/Training Officer would welcome your assistance. In all due respect, I am starting to think that your prejudges towards volunteers are regurgitated with little, to no foundations.

  • If you think they are so bad, then you could volunteer as a training officer, or the training officer's assistant?

  • Cause they are volunteers! Look, I don't doubt that you had a bad experience with volunteers, but if you are the thinker, I think you are, then you have to logically accept that it is wrong to judge all volunteer departments based on your limited experience. In the end, paid and volunteer do the same and risk the same, plus, both sides have their share of idiots. Your comment of =pussy volunteers= is ignorant because, the ones you call pussies do what you do without a paycheck for doing it.

  • damn straight

  • Well said.

  • Plus, (at least in my area) many firefighters are both paid and serve as volunteers.

  • ...and the other content?

  • By and by, I thought you said you would volunteer, but didn't have the opportunity due to not having any volunteers in your area? Did they add a Company of volunteers last night?

  • I hear what you're saying, however, the same can B said about my paid brothers. Speaking 4 only my State, Volunteers R required the same minimal training/certifications as Paid. Our department is competitive with our neighboring paid dept, & ironically, man-4-man our personnel R more trained. So, U see, your prejudges are invalid, and equivalent to me saying that based from my YouTube experience, all paid FF are arrogant assholes that think they are Gods gift to man. Which I know isnt true.

  • So, what makes volunteers pussies?

  • By your own admission you state that there are no volunteers in your area, then, you are gonna state out of your extensive experience that based from some interactions, ALL volunteers are unprofessional/not well groomed? My friend, think about what you are saying! Look at some videos I have posted, as they are all volunteers and I bet they dont fit your claim.

  • I am refering to your comment, =Money says you're a pussy volly.= Are you now changing your stance?

  • A pussy volley eh? So now you are gonna be all sanctimonious cause you get a paycheck, for doing what we do for free? Son, you may want to become a little more educated about the fire service before you make yourself sound totally ignorant. By the way, I agree with what you say about female firefighters, stay safe.

  • Well for HurfinDurfin the pak test has been 3 miles since it started after the step test. And the time goes by where you are at. So they did not just move it up for some female. It has been that way. Please learn wht you are talking about first. And you do not even know who you will work for. I spent 5 year on the Black Hat hand crew in South Dakota. So I know a little

  • OK, So I say we make it even harder to weed out even more people that dont belong men and women. I have no problem if a woman can pull thier own weight plus the weight of a fellow FF. Most Females I know if the fire service cannot carry much weight and that sucks for most firefighters since the average weighs around 250 with gear. I weagh 230 with out gear and I am 6'4"

  • @emolosersunite The strongest female in our department is not physically capable of using the hydraulic cutters. She still puts in a good effort on the job but it just makes the team work that much harder when she is on the scene. She is still weaker than the strongest male, by quite a bit in the weight room. A women's physiology cannot compete with a man's when physically demanding labor is needed. Hire the best!

  • Yes I know I have done the pack test a couple of times. It is easy!

  • WOW that is some crazy display of physical fitness! 3 whole miles in 45 minutes! that is some impressive walking! HA HA HA!

  • you are a 19 year old EMT, what do you know about fire? The pack test is a joke and so are most PAT's, you know why? because if they where any harder females would have a slim chance of passing them. Why becasue they are weaker than men. that is a fact. You sound like a powder puff yourself and probably couldn't get into any fire service if it weren't for women making the test easier for weak little pussies like you.

  • Agree with cjs. Safety is being compromised because of political correctness. I've experienced this first hand and I believe recruiting women undermines the brigade as a whole. I love women, I just don't want them in the brigade.

  • Firemanladder33 has it right.

  • For your information, govt lowered the physical agility test standards so females could pass them. I think that is bull shit. I have no problem with women doing any job as long as they can do it as good as the average man. most woman are not as strong as the average man. I think that its BS that a 5'1" light weight girl can become a FF because there is NO WAY IN HELL she can perform the duties of a FireMAN! Especially after wearing an SCBA and full turn out gear.

  • I have to agree with sweetychild. Why shouldnt women have the same oppertunites as men I believe it's called equal oppertunity. Besides I've seen female fire fighters and police officers in action and you know what, they're really good at their job so yeah odysseynumberfive=jackass
