  • excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @amtrc I have an Elegante ( 81') and as much as I love it I think the Hammond tone wheel organ as well as the Wurlitzer electrostatic reed organ sound superior for their tone. These were followed by vacuum tube tone generator designs. I was made aware of a new yahoo group called historyofelectronicorgans and I look forward to seeing this website grow. The organist of every style needs a great resource, a big master book even, to detail every design and all of the models. The organ lives!

  • this would be good on a 1980's hammond elegante i would love to here you play this same tune

i think the older hammond elegante and would be enterresting

  • It's a shame you don't see more Bach being played with this organ.

  • @RGAF1987 check billy preston - summertime, in the middle he does some kind of bach improvisation

  • I am an organ builder whose ideal is Schnitger. However I love this playing. Clean, clear, wild, and above all artistic. Hard to tell it is a Hammond.

  • That piece is a night mare and no hiding on the B3 w/ tone cab.....

Nice job bro, doubt Bach would approve of your use of the swell pedal but he is ok'n your technique and memory indeed.

  • You should purchase the Hammond Drawbar Guide book as it list drawbar setting for classical organ voices. I would suggest no Vibrato and more reverb with the Leslie slow. I played such classical tunes on my Hammond X-77 as it really sounded like a classical pipe organ.

  • i play bach on a hammond a-100 and i only got one complaint from someone who plays a pipe organ, and i said "well, this is what i have to work with," :-)

  • Oh, I forgot to add...

    Your playing is quite nice!!!

  • It sounds as though you have percussion on the upper manual. I wouldn't (not for a classical piece). Also, you should possibly add some reverb. These changes, I believe may allow for a more realistic pipe organ sound.

    What say ye, good man?

  • @fstanley35

this is and will be a hammond b3....

if he would like to hear a real church organ sound he had taken a new keyboard.

superb playing , verry good cocngratulations

  • Thank you! It was fun!
