  • Being born and raised on the bayou in Elton, now residing in DeRidder, I saw credits givenTerance on a movie, searched for him, and find Terence and his group to be the best modern day zydeco band and this video is one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of viewing. Thanks Terence!

  • I LOVE Terrance Simien and have seen him several times..

  • it's official, the incredibly talented Terrence Simien returns to the Fox July 15. Terrence was voted best Zydeco in all of Louisiana! The Fox is committed to bringing the best music on the planet directly to you...(lucky you)

  • He's playing at Ottawa's Bluesfest. Might just have to catch a song or two :)

  • c est quoi le nom de la chanson?

  • Catch this great band on May 12 @ the RiverSide Ballroom Green Bay Wi show starts at 7pm with Copper Box Band opening. Call 800.236.7625 to charge tickets. or for more info.

  • I would like to invite Terrance Simien's Rubboard Player and all Rubboard Players out there to join Washboards International!

  • I was impressed by Jose Alvarez on guitar, when I saw them play two yrs ago.

He and Terrance play a few slow numbers alone, wonderful stuff...!

  • I love this song!

  • ive never heard of this guy before but hes gonna b playn at the byron bay blues festival over easter im lookin forward to his set now

  • Did you get to see him at the festival? Hope you did. He was fantastic!

  • I saw him twice at the fest - awesome peformances - and I have the beads to prove it!

  • I'm looking forward to seeing you guys in Three Rivers, Michigan on March 7th. Robin and I had too much fun on January's cruise, as well as in St Croix last year. This should help end the winter Blues big time.

    Take care,

    Mark

  • I can't wait to see him at Trolley Stop on Sunday...i'm gonna dance my ass off.

  • I've been obsessed with this song for about three days now....does anyone know the title?

  • Nevermind - found it. "Dance Everybody"

  • Merci Beau Coup Terrance Simien for blessing this world with your talent! Congrats on your Grammy win - It's high time the music world recognize the feel good music called Zydeco! I love, love me some Zydeco!

  • Terrence is tops, i tell ya' so...da mahn is the scoop of music that makes ya' wahna dance

    don't ya' know

  • A dance where Zydeco music is played is called "A Zydeco". One can play Zydeco, go to a Zydeco, or "be at a Zydeco."

  • I never understood why some people like to grab autochthonous music and place it in a glass box...Most innovators are persecuted. What do you think Robert Johnson would sound like today? But none the less -Check out the new Louisiana Chamber of Tourism commercial, that's Terrance and his band; sounds like zydeco to me.

  • I never google anything. I only speak when I know it, never rely on the internet or googling. We've had Terrence Simien, Nathan,

Buckwheat and many others here when we hosted the National Folk Festival 3 years and since during what we bill as Folk-fest each year.

  • how can you "be at a zydeco" ? Zydeco is a genre of music, like blues, jazz, folk, etc. Its not a place. It has its roots in the Bayou region of Louisiana with Cajun. Most great zydeco groups have roots or ties to that area, not only this one, like "Nathan and the Zydeco Chachas" or the master, "Buckwheat" Zydeco.

  • Congratulations Terrance, Cynthia and the musicians in The Zydeco Experience. You should be very proud to go down in history as the first Grammy winners in this new category on Febraury 10, 2008

  • Love this!!! Gotta get a you tube video up of Pet De Kat! Throw those beads, Terrance! Love seeing Ralph and Danny up there with him... These guys are great, no wonder they were nominated for a Grammy!

  • The great thing about seeing him "Live"is the band sounds just as great as his CDs...Saw him in Simi Valley a few years ago...Great stuff!!!

  • If you ever get the chance to see Terrance Simien live....GO!!!!!! I have seen my share of zydeco bands live and none of them have the energy that Terrance has.

  • Terrence Simien never fails to put on a wonderful show if its thouands of people of just 30 or 40 it doesn't matter - the man is a true musician and a true performer. I see him every chance I get

  • Wicked ! love Zydeco!
