Amen! Every pre-1611 Bible, including the Roman Catholic Douey-Rheims, read 'saved' in 1Cor.1:18, not 'being saved' as do all the modern versions.
I guess the Greek must have changed in the last hundred years! Context determines how the Greek will be translated.
