I think it should be “illegal” for a man to be married more than once – for their own protection. (At least you have a 50-50 chance of some success for a first marriage.) This legislation must go through immediately – before it’s too late! Of course, you could be married to more than one woman at the same time to increase your chances of a marriage that lasts – but, for some strange reason, this is actually illegal.

I have certain beliefs that prompt me to marry in order to avoid persecution of sexual immorality. These are my beliefs which have attributed to my own personal choices to be married. Marriage is a spiritual and emotional ceremony of being connected to another person and taking the journey of life with them and in the event that the person changes for the worst or falls out of love as they put it, it is then and only then that marriage becomes a falsehood.

I'm 41, single never married, no kids. I've dated a good amount and have decent options with women yet am still very reluctant to marry. I'm surrounded by married and divorced men who absolutely CANNOT recommend it! I'm in a position financially where I could conceivably retire, most of them will grow old and die at their miserable jobs married to obese wives who don't respect them in sexless marriages.... Think about it!
I honestly do not regret staying single so WAIT, then wait some more!

In some cases its pure jealousy, misery loves company.Just looking at the wives of some of those married men and I know they can't possibly be satisfied but they have no choice but to continue on in their endless drudgery. He tells me of all the pressure to marry he got for years and years. I assure him that he escaped a ton of pain and strife. He tells me of these Baby Boomer women who see his Mercedes and throw themselves at him. Most have been divorced three or four times and are way past their expiration date.

Yes, good piece Contrarian. 39 never married.. I wish I had some kids sometimes but to be honest the more and more I go down the road the more I realize I made the right choice. My parents don't like it but hey they got divorced when I was 10 and she was still suing my poor dad when I was 24.. Yes seriously. My dad was all but impoverished. The majority of my friends have already been divorced once already. I've seen a few happy marriages but they might be like 5% or something.

I was married for 20 years and only because I came from a broken home and didn't want that for my kids. It takes 2 to tango but as for my opinion...my wife was a cunt. She created $14k worth of debt in her name, worked her ass off and contributed nothing but laundry every 2 weeks and sex once or twice a month if I preasured her into it. Goodbye charlie and I pounced. Had her name taken off the deed and she signed papers before reading. I have kids, house and cars all in my name. No BS.

I have certain beliefs that prompt me to marry in order to avoid persecution of sexual immorality. These are my beliefs which have attributed to my own personal choices to be married. Marriage is a spiritual and emotional ceremony of being connected to another person and taking the journey of life with them and in the event that the person changes for the worst or falls out of love as they put it, it is then and only then that marriage becomes a falsehood.

There is a difference between marriage in the eyes of God and the institution of marriage. I am a woman who is engaged and simply wanted to see other people's views on marriage. I do not believe in the stereotypical marriage because I am not the stereotypical woman. I can understand why a man or even another woman would not want to get married. The law of self-preservation is ever present but taking time to develop and grow on your own will make you better for it

Critique: your still picture remains long after the audio portion has ended. The number of men marrying has been in steady decline for decades. This hasn't stopped men from having to hand over their income to women due to paternity. To fully prevent men from being exploited by women for child production men should lobby harder for access to early-preventative vasectomy. @ashatbulaparanormal In a lot of cases the man holds down a job, and the woman stays at home doing housework, but a lot of women demands that he does half of the housework while she does not have to earn half of the house's overall income.
Divorce court does not look at this as a possible situation. If the man does not do half of the housework, even if he is the only one holding down a job, he would be considered at fault, and she gets half of everything of his cause of it. This happens a lot

If two people are committed to each other, the idea of family, having children and their religion then marriage is fine. But what society has to understand is that this lifelong commitment isn't for everyone and I get tired when society tries to shove marriage down everyone throat. For example, I love a variety of women, yet I am told by the "Powers that be" that I should just pick one women and settle down. Who makes up these rules?

Why men avoid having kids and why women dupe men into being parents?
Men pay for the choices while women GET paid for their choices. Women face no repercussions for having children, men on the other hand do.
It has been proven that single divorced women is more financially stable then married women. Marriage allows women to divorce men and literally bleed them dry, and make far more then what they would have staying with the man. Family court makes sure women know about it and use it.

Anyway, I would like to add to the discussion that men are vulnerable--I like to say gullible--to stupid marrying(as opposed to intelligent marrying, which believe does exist, though rarely) because when a man is sexually attracted to a woman, his mind will generalize to everything about her.
