I'm an Ethiopian with locks....thanks for the post, i just needed an easy way to wrap my locks against the harsh winter cold...u nah haffi dread to be rasta and vice versa, i think its funny some ppl are gettin their wraps all in a knot bout this but its probably due to the name of the video...but no RASTA created turban, even Ethio-Orthodox monks wore turban for centuries....so JUDGE NOT what is on a man's head but what is in a man's heart!

That's not right you can look at my pic and see mine is wrapped completely differently I am a NyahBinghi. IF that was a true RasCloth you shouldn't have even THOUGHT to put it on youtube. That's why you don't know how to wrap your turban like mine. Harm noone let noone harm you!

My friend, That is NOT how to tie a turban. I happen to be a Bobo Ashanti, living in the Bahamas. That there is utter nonsense. That's the Female version of an AFRICAN headwrap. That's the reason why we never show anyone how to tie ours now. Seek Jah first and EVERYthing come after.

thanks for posting this video cause I was always curious about the art of it. I grew up doing the traditional African headwrap for women in Ghana but when I came to the states seeing folks with your head wrap got me curious, even the India people head wrap seems brilliant and complicated.

besides if you was really tryin to impress ones and ones, it woulda Binghi in the background and not the slackness of capleton. Come to Sabbath service and learn the order before turban. All with a clean hands and pure in heart are welcome.

Why are people hating? This young man chooses to express himself spiritualy thorugh the interpretation of Rasta. And chooses to wear a turban to further express that, or maybe just for comfort. Just cause, he may or may not be a devout, BOBO Rasta doesn't mean, he does not praise The Most high. There are devout, Orthadox, very strict Jews, who wear yamakas. But spirituality is not on a sliding scale. Stop passing judgement on him, and work on your own relationship with your God. Jah BLess!

A turban is just a man made custom made by man, as an interpretation of scripture. statement like "just another white bwoy playing Rasta" are silly, immature, and diminish the effects Rastafari has had on the world. Have you been to Jamaica. Home of Rastafarianism...and by the way has one of the highest populations of Catholic churches in the world. I never heard the pope hating. Why?
