  • Great performance, I loved it, wish i had done that with our border Collie but at 11 yrs getting on a bit, although she is still active and mad as a hatter.Love how one of the collies "helped" to hold the hoop, my favourite song as well. Well done dogs and your owners as well. ;-)

  • omg. i smiled the whole video!!!

  • Great. How do you signal one dog to circle you and the other to zoom (back around)? How do they know which is to do which action?

    Janet

  • Hi Janet and thank you! My dogs get the credit for "creating" that move! :-) Recently I was out training and I was having Bolt back around me.. when Sandy came and started circling us (which that is a "move" I call "ME", the opposite direction, counter-clockwise is"Verse" short for Reverse). So I "clicked and treated BOTH dogs". Then I told them each what to do and we just did a short distance of about halfway around (each doing their separate moves) and I rewarded.

  • After that I make the distance a little longer each time. Then I added a "GO" to their verbal and gradually decreased the original command. So they actually can go on just my body cues now and/or a "GO". They recognize the "idea/concept" of what we are going to do by "association" and all of our general positions. :-)

  • Loved it and so did my dog..

  • super cute!!!!!!:)
