  • WHITE BELT PRIDE

  • Thank you for this videos in slow speed. It´s very helpful.

  • Great work ! Your moves are crisp and elegant. I am a new student and really appreciate your contribution. It has made many of my confusions clearer. Thanks a lot.

  • Frozeal: You're correct. The head is not supposed to touch the mat at any time. And in a right-side forward roll, the back meets the mat as you describe.

So glad these videos are helping you as you begin your study of Aikido!

  • Ok thanks. Tomorrow morning im going to start training again my falls as it should be done.

  • The head isn't supposed to touch the floor in any moment? And the parts of the back that touches the floor is in diagonal starting from top right to bottom left? (In the case of starting with the right leg forward)

P.S.: Oh and I congrats for your vids, rly. Im a newb student of Aikido in Chile (Traditional Iwama Ryu) I've been practicing Aikido a month and this videos are really helping me to learn how to fall properly

  • We emphasize maintaining a circular posture with the arms throughout the forward roll. When doing a forward roll with the right foot forward, this would mean lightly holding the right hand in position with the left hand. This helps to maintain the circle of the arm posture even as you come out of the roll. There are different ways to practice forward rolls, this is only one of them.

Thanks for your interest in our videos!

  • So you hold your right arm tight with your left hand at all time?
