@trog61 Just didnt get to see them but had tickets for Appollo Glasgow. You have good taste or your same age as me with memories of good times. Thanks for your comment are you male or female?
@iamatwat......I totally disagree! Harrison Ford was a very handsome man back then, I agree, but he wasn't a patch on GERRY SHEPHARD! And they certainly didn't look alike. Maybe you need glasses!
@Strawberry7Lynn...No he did not. John Springate (the bass guitarist) sang on a lot of the songs too. Pete Phipps (one of the drummers) sang on one he wrote himself on one of their albums, as did Harvey Ellison (the sax player with the sunglasses) on a song he wrote himself too. They all helped write some of their songs but the majority were written by Gerry and John. Their first 3 hits were written by Gerry and John Rossall (the other sax player) who left he band at the end of 1974.
My favourite band of the 70's-the one and only wonderfully brilliant GLITTER BAND!! I absolutely adored them and still do! I love all their songs but this has something special. Gerry Shephard was my favourite and he looks soooo gorgeous in this vid! Makes me weak at the knees! Haha. Gerry Shephard, Mr. Star Guitar himself. Gone but NEVER forgotten. Love you Gerry, For Always And Ever. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Good picture quality, unfortunately the Beeb insisted on using blue/green screen technology back then before the process had been perfected, which spoilt things somewhat
im a massive MUD fan, but lookin back, these were really pretty good...........
