  • glitter band better than gary, great song

  • @trog61 Just didnt get to see them but had tickets for Appollo Glasgow. You have good taste or your same age as me with memories of good times. Thanks for your comment are you male or female?

  • Brilliant. I forgot just how good this track was

  • RIP Jimmy

  • I had forgotten how great this song is. And the Angel Face key change sneaks in just at the right place. Cool!

  • @iamatwat......I totally disagree! Harrison Ford was a very handsome man back then, I agree, but he wasn't a patch on GERRY SHEPHARD! And they certainly didn't look alike. Maybe you need glasses!

  • @Strawberry7Lynn...No he did not. John Springate (the bass guitarist) sang on a lot of the songs too. Pete Phipps (one of the drummers) sang on one he wrote himself on one of their albums, as did Harvey Ellison (the sax player with the sunglasses) on a song he wrote himself too. They all helped write some of their songs but the majority were written by Gerry and John. Their first 3 hits were written by Gerry and John Rossall (the other sax player) who left he band at the end of 1974.

  • you gotta admit dear gerry must have been seperated at birth from han solo, aka harry ford. rip gerry

  • My favourite band of the 70's-the one and only wonderfully brilliant GLITTER BAND!! I absolutely adored them and still do! I love all their songs but this has something special. Gerry Shephard was my favourite and he looks soooo gorgeous in this vid! Makes me weak at the knees! Haha. Gerry Shephard, Mr. Star Guitar himself. Gone but NEVER forgotten. Love you Gerry, For Always And Ever. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • @ForAlwaysGerry Did Gerry S do the lead vocal on all the Glitter Band songs?

  • @ForAlwaysGerry Your so right, sex on legs ,lips to die for

  • British Glam Rock at its very best

  • WISH THE YOUNGSTERS TODAY COULD JUST HAVE A SMALL PIECE OF THE JOY THAT WAS GLAM ROCK THEN MAYBY THEY WOULD STOP NICKIN ME CAR

  • So if Gary Glitter had been called Terry Tinsel then presumably they would called The Tinsel Band

  • @pertuk Well, obviously. . .

  • @pertuk brilliant!

  • I love The Glitter Band, Just.... PURE GLAM ROCK!!

  • Oh mate, that was FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!! Woooooo!!!!

  • I think this lot were better than we realised in 74!!

  • Good picture quality, unfortunately the Beeb insisted on using blue/green screen technology back then before the process had been perfected, which spoilt things somewhat
